CNN asked Caitlyn Jenner, a biological male, to supply a quote for its celebration of “International Women’s Day.”
For its March 8th International Women’s Day discussion, CNN asked women around the world: “What single thing would you change to improve gender equality where you are?” One of those asked to contribute was former Olympic champion, Kardashian TV cast member, and, biological man, Caitlyn Jenner.
The cabler invited celebrities, athletes, politicians, businesswomen, and activists to offer their pearls of wisdom about the day meant to praise the contribution of women across the world.
Jenner’s contribution was featured prominently as the third entry in the list.
“My path to womanhood was very different and through that process I feel like I learned a lot about women,” Jenner wrote. “Women are brought up to kind of be a second-class citizen. Emotionally weaker. Physically weaker. I’ve always been inspired by strong women. And in particular, both by daughters: Kendall and Kylie.”
The former Olympian has been controversial for transitioning from a male to a female, less for the transitioning than for being highly celebrated for the decision. In 2015, for instance, ESPN awarded Jenner its “Arthur Ashe Courage Award,” despite the fact that Jenner’s transition had little to do with sports.
Other contributors who are featured in CNN’s celebration include Namita Gokhale, a writer and publisher from India, plus-size model Ashley Graham, fashion designer Diane Von Furstenberg, Olympic gold medalist Jessie Diggins, left-wing comedienne Margaret Cho, along with a member of the Iraqi Parliament, the mayor of San Juan, Puerto Rico, and many others.
Billy Graham preached the bible and these evil demons hated that.
Former President Barack Obama sparked a liberal backlash by praising Rev. Billy Graham, who passed away on Wednesday at the age of 99.
“Billy Graham was a humble servant who prayed for so many – and who, with wisdom and grace, gave hope and guidance to generations of Americans,” Obama wrote on Twitter, shortly after news of Graham’s death became public.
Liberals lashed out at Obama for not trashing Graham after death for the preacher’s Christian beliefs about gay marriage. (Obama, it’s worth noting, also opposed gay marriage when he first ran for president in 2008.)
CNN commentator Sally Kohn said Wednesday that chanting “USA” is a “fear mongering” tactic that lately sends chills down her spine.
In a tweet, Kohn said that although she is a patriot, the chant, often started by spectators at sports events and political rallies, crosses a line.
“I am a patriot and I love my country but the way people have been chanting ‘USA’ lately, especially in response to nationalist hate mongering, sends chills down my spine,” Kohn tweeted.
I am a patriot and I love my country but the way people have been chanting “USA” lately, especially in response to nationalist hate mongering, sends chills down my spine.
Kohn has written a book, to be released in April 2018, which is touted as a “field guide to repairing our humanity.”
At Tuesday night’s State of the Union address, the crowd began chanting “USA” after President Donald Trump honored those who lost their lives while serving in the U.S. armed services.
This is the Goon with her “Wife”.
During the chant, Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D., Ill.), a vocal Trump critic, removed himself from the House chamber. According to his spokesman, he was not protesting the “USA” chant, but left early to make it on time to an interview.
We have sick bastards like this and the media and the LGBTQ says this is normal: I say put a bullet in the MoFo.
A 38-year-old Chicago man accused of molesting three pre-teen girls told police he is a boy trapped in a man’s body, according to court documents.
Joseph Roman was charged with a long list of sexual molestation charges after three girls between the ages of six and eight came forward alleging they were assaulted during a three-year period.
During a January 24 hearing, Roman reportedly admitted to some of the charges and told the court he felt he was “a nine-year-old trapped in an adult’s body,” according to the Chicago Tribune.
Prosecutors said the attacks began in 2015 after a family moved into a home with the suspect, and they continued until 2017. Roman reportedly began assaulting the first child while the others were asleep. The child was six when the assaults allegedly started.
Roman is also accused of molesting an eight-year-old while her family also stayed with the suspect. During the ten-week period the family stayed in Roman’s home, prosecutors say the suspect repeatedly abused the girl while other members of the family were out of the home. The child’s mother worked nights, and Roman was tasked with minding the children, according to investigators.
Finally, prosecutors allege that Roman assaulted a third child while she slept in his home visiting the other children. This six-year-old girl’s family confronted Roman about the allegations, and the police were called.
Roman reportedly turned in a video confession to the court and was charged with a Class X felony.
This is what our politicians are doing instead of many the country better.
The Washington Post reported Thursday that the California lawmaker would join other celebrity guest judges including actor Tituss Burgess, actresses Kristen Chenoweth and Vanessa Hudgens, and singer Emma Bunton for the show’s upcoming third season.
Pelosi tweeted Thursday that she had a “fabulous” time filming her cameo for the show.

Drag Race All-Stars is a spin-off of the popular, long-running series RuPaul’s Drag Race, in which contestants from the original show vie to become the season’s top drag performer.
A representative for Pelosi told the Post that the 77-year-old lawmaker agreed to participate in the show as a way to stand against what she called President Donald Trump’s anti-LGBT policies.
The paper further reported that Pelosi was a fan of the show and its message of being proud of who you are.
RuPaul has been a vocal critic of Trump, telling the Hollywood Reporter in an August interview that the president’s administration represents a “resistance to moving forward.”
“That’s what the code words ‘make America great again’ are really saying,” the drag icon said. “Let’s go back in time to when we didn’t have to evolve and that we could just languish in our ignorance.”
RuPaul was also a featured speaker at last year’s Los Angeles Gay Pride Parade, which re-named itself the Resist March following Trump’s victory.
The third season of Drag Race All-Stars premieres Jan. 25 on VH1.
Talk show host Chelsea Handler took to Twitter Wednesday to launch a foul-mouthed attack on Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), suggesting that the senator was gay and being blackmailed to control his views on immigration.
“Holy, f*ck f*ck. I just the video of trumps bipartisan ‘meeting’ yesterday [sic],” Handler wrote. “Hey, @LindsayGrahamSC what kind of d*ck sucking video do they have on you for you 2 be acting like this? Wouldn’t coming out be more honorable?”

Holy, fuck fuck. I just the video of trumps bipartisan “meeting” yesterday. Hey, @LindseyGrahamSC what kind of dick sucking video do they have on you for you 2 be acting like this? Wouldn’t coming out be more honorable?
Handler’s tweet came after President Donald Trump met Tuesday with both Republican and Democratic lawmakers to discuss immigration reform, with about half of the 90-minute meeting televised live.
Followers of the 42-year-old Chelsea host were quick to respond to the tweet, accusing her of homophobia and hypocrisy.
“Using homosexuality as a sick burn is so woke,” wrote one commenter.
“Wow. So non homophobic of you. And so graphic. Aren’t you ‘they go low we go high?’ Or are you just high?” added another.
Others called for Handler to be banned or suspended from Twitter for the message, with commenters suggesting conservatives were being punished by the service for saying far less.
Handler also took aim at so-called “Trump puppets” and blasted America’s healthcare system in relation to that of Canada.
What kind of impact do all these Trump puppets have when they resign or retire from “public service,” without speaking up and telling the truth about why. You were supposed to be serving your country. This is your country that you were born in. Is there no loyalty at all?
I’ve spent the day with a ski guide in Canada who pays 14 dollars a month for health insurance. In Canada’s, if you make under 35k a year, you get healthcare for free. What I’m the fuck is wrong with our country and why can’t we take care of our own people?
The Netflix star — who recently announced she would focus more on her political activismafter the cancelation of her talk show — has repeatedly attacked Trump, members of his administration, and his family on social media.
Handler previously called White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders a “harlot,” and called Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson a “black white supremacist.” She has also attacked First Lady Melania Trump, and the president’s then-unborn grandchild, though she misspelled the punchline in the case of the latter.
Handler also recently blamed Republicans for a recent deadly church shooting in Texas, and appeared to blame Trump himself for recent wildfires in California.
