FEBRUARY 7–A 72-year-old landscaper is serving 100 days in jail after pleading guilty to entering the home of a female client and masturbating into a bottle of orange juice that he then returned to a shelf in the victim’s refrigerator.

In a plea deal with Ohio prosecutors, Willis Gene Burdette copped to felony burglary and attempted felonious assault charges in connection with the repulsive incident last August.

In addition to the jail term, Burdette, seen above, was sentenced last month to three years probation and 200 hours of community service, and he was directed to complete a mental health assessment. Burdette is also barred from employment that would involve him gaining access to private homes.

According to police, Burdette’s victim paid him to perform yard work at her residence in Massillon, a city outside Canton. Before Burdette’s sentencing, the 61-year-old woman told the court that she was haunted by the “gross, disgusting act,” adding that she suspected that Burdette had similarly targeted other female clients.

The woman contacted police after her home security system recorded Burdette entering the residence one afternoon. Burdette, a criminal complaint noted, got into the home by “using a key located inside of her shed.” Once inside, the married septuagenarian “began to masturbate inside a small tool room near the garage.”

Burdette then “removed a bottle of orange juice from the refrigerator and cum inside the bottle of orange juice,” a Jackson Township Police Department detective reported. He then proceeded to “shake the bottle” before returning it to the refrigerator.

The tainted orange juice was not consumed by the homeowner.

Burdette was indicted for contaminating a substance for human consumption by knowingly mingling “a biological substance and/or harmful substance, to wit: semen, with a drink, when he knew or had reason to believe that the drink may be ingested or used by another person.” That count was plea bargained down to attempted assault, a lesser felony.

Burdette is locked up in the Stark County jail, where next month he will celebrate his 73rd birthday.

Cops: Perp angry over failure to consummate recent marriage

FEBRUARY 9–Angered that he had yet to consummate his six-month-old marriage, a 76-year-old Florida man allegedly shot his new bride in the buttocks, according to police who arrested the septuagenarian for felony domestic violence.

 

Donald Royce, pictured at right, was arrested Saturday night after firing a pair of shots at his 62-year-old spouse in the bedroom of the couple’s Lehigh Acres residence. He is being held in the Lee County jail in lieu of $100,000 bail.

Royce “explained that they have been married since August and together they have not consummated their marriage,” according to a probable cause statement prepared by a police detective. “Donald became violently angry tonight due to his requesting sex with his wife and her refusing.”

During questioning by cops, Royce said that he had been arguing with his wife about their sleeping arrangements when he decided to fire into the bed to scare her. But Royce said he missed the mattress, instead striking the victim in the hip and buttocks.

“Donald then stated he only wanted to shoot the mattress but was upset when he realized he had shot his wife,” an investigator noted. When sheriff’s deputies first arrived at his home, Royce declared, “I shot her and the gun is in my room.”

Royce’s wife was transported to Lee Memorial Hospital, where she was treated and later released. A judge has ordered Royce to have no contact with his spouse.

Royce and his wife–who had been together for six years–were wed in August 2016 at the county clerk’s office in Fort Myers.

Left-wing documentary filmmaker Michael Moore says the Trump administration’s efforts to repeal and replace Obamacare is proof that no nation on earth “sh*ts on its own” people the way the U.S. does.

“Civilized countries that have universal healthcare – no country, no group of people, no tribe sh*ts on their own to the extent and the level that we do to each other; it’s the most embarrassing and humiliating thing about this great country,” Moore said on a conference call Thursday held by the Progressive Democrats of America.

“Humans anyplace else, what they don’t do is sh*t on their own,” Moore said. “They need their own for their own defense. They need their own for their own survival – they need their own. They need to protect their children, not say to the child, ‘sorry, no, we got rid of Obamacare. We won’t help you. You’re sick? Tough.’”

Moore predicted that Trump would work with Congress to “retain as much or most, even all” of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, signed into law by President Obama in 2010 and commonly called Obamacare, because at the end of the day Trump “likes being popular.”

“[Trump is] trying to find a way to have his cake and eat it too, basically. He likes being popular. He likes his ratings. He does not want to be seen – and he said this during the campaign – as the guy who is throwing 20 million people out on the curb. He said that because he wouldn’t be very popular then,” Moore explained.

“He will look for a way to retain as much or most, even all, and I think he’s learned that the worst thing about Obamacare to his supporters is the fact that it’s called Obamacare,” Moore continued. “And I think he’s just going to change the name, you know, the man is all about branding.”

On Wednesday, conservative lawmakers called on Trump to work with Republican leaders in Congress to completely repeal the health care law.

But Moore says Trump will likely keep much of Obamacare intact, and move merely to change the law’s name and make adjustments.

The Oscar-winner went on to praise the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals for its 3-0 ruling upholding a lower court’s order halting President Trump’s temporary travel-restriction executive order.

“The more we can discombobulate him, the better,” Moore said of the ruling.

Moore also told Progressive Democrats of America members that the liberal left is “doomed” if Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.) doesn’t win his race to become the next chairman of the Democratic National Committee.

Russia Considering Sending Edward Snowden Back to U.S. as ‘Gift’ to Trump

Russian officials are considering sending the famed whistleblower Edward Snowden back to America as “a gift” to President Donald Trump, according to a report from NBC News.

Snowden, a former CIA employee, was granted asylum by the Russian government in 2013. He sought to escape charges of espionage, having leaked classified information concerning U.S surveillance programs conducted by the National Security Agency (NSA.)

However, a senior U.S official told NBC News that Russian authorities are now considering turning him over to the United States, where he would face trial, in order to “curry favor” with Trump and the new administration.

In December, the Russian foreign ministry revealed they had extended Snowden’s permit until 2020.

In an interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper in 2015, Trump described Snowden as a “total traitor,” adding that if he became president, “Putin would give him over. Snowden is a spy who should be executed.”

“If I’m president, Putin says, hey, boom, you’re gone,” he continued.

“A second source in the intelligence community confirms the intelligence about the Russian conversations and notes it has been gathered since the inauguration,” according to NBC.

CIA Director Mike Pompeo also warned last February that Snowden’s return could lead to his execution, arguing that the “proper outcome [of his conviction] would be that he would be given a death sentence.”

Lawyers for Edward Snowden dismissed the claims, saying that “Team Snowden has received no such signals and has no new reason for concern.”

One item that some Jewish religious leaders in the United States hope to see Putin offer is the Schneerson Collection, a library of sacred texts stolen by the Nazis and currently in the possession of the Russian government, which rabbis have tried for decades to recover.

In the final week of his presidency, Barack Obama pardoned former United States soldier Chelsea Manning, who was serving 35 years in jail for leaking classified military documents to Wikileaks.

Should Snowden be convicted on charges of espionage, he would face a minimum of 30 years in prison.

TAMPA (FOX 13) – The man who raped, beat and left a teen girl for dead outside a public library eight years ago could be granted a reduced sentence next month, thanks to a Supreme Court decision.

In 2008, Kendrick Morris — then 16 years old — was convicted for a brutal rape that left a young woman blind and paralyzed for life.

He attacked high school student Queena Phu as she was dropping off books at the Bloomingdale Regional Public Library in Valrico. Morris dragged her behind the building, where he raped and beat Queena so violently, he robbed her of the ability to see, talk or walk on her own.

Morris was convicted and sentenced to 65 years in prison for that crime and another rape.

Nearly a decade since his crime, Morris, now 25, appeared in court Thursday to ask for a lesser sentence.

This comes after a Supreme Court ruling from last year that determined lengthy sentences for juvenile offenders are unconstitutional, and that they should have the opportunity for parole.

Thursday in court, Queena’s mother made a tearful statement, begging the judge to keep Morris locked up.

She said, “I have come to accept our situation, but I will never accept letting this person go free — ever. If my daughter cannot get a resentencing, he shouldn’t.”

Queena’s family and friends called Morris a “violent monster” who didn’t take away her life, but took away her future. They say she is serving a life sentence of her own. She can’t walk, talk or see. She has close to 20 doctors and needs a lifetime of therapy, as well as 24-hour-a-day care.

Her care costs $80,000 out of pocket each year, and the family relies largely on donations through www.JoinQueena.com, though they say donations have slowed over the years.

The defense had two psychologists testify that Morris was mentally and physically abused by his mother and stepdad for years. That abuse, they say, caused Morris to lash out and become violent.

Both doctors said that Morris is on his way to full rehabilitation, and that he can become a productive member of society and no threat to the community.

But a re-sentencing hearing could go both ways. While Morris is seeking less time in prison, the judge could very well sentence him to more — even life in prison.

The judge will decide on March 9.

Amid Protests and Majority Approval, Trump Doubles Down on Travel Ban

President Donald Trump said Friday he’s “terribly confident” his administration would prevail in an ongoing legal fight over his seven-nation travel ban, and hinted he is preparing to “rapidly” take more action to enhance national security within a week.

“Ultimately I have no doubt that we will win that particular case.” said Trump, appearing at a joint press conference with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. “One of the reasons I’m standing here today [is] the security of our country. The voters felt I would give it the best security.”

Meanwhile, “We’ll be doing something very rapidly having to do with additional security,” Trump continued, without specifying. “You’ll be seeing that sometime next week.”

It was his first remarks since a three-judge panel of the California-based U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals on Thursday unanimously rejected the Trump administration’s request to drop a lower-court ruling suspending the White House travel ban.

Just days after he was inaugurated, Trump signed an executive order enacting a sweeping ban on U.S. entry for refugees, immigrants and travelers from seven Muslim-majority countries. The president said the ban is necessary to protect the nation from a terrorist attack, but the states of Washington and Minnesota successfully sued to temporarily block the order.

Several other states around the country have also challenged the order in federal court.

In the brief press conference, Trump said he has “learned tremendous things” during his brief time in office, and he signed the ban “because I saw what was happening,” apparently referring to classified national security briefings.

Though he declined to specify what he plans to do next week, Trump pledged to do “whatever is necessary to keep our country safe.”
