Liberals Are Most Likely To Believe Fake News. No Shit Sherlock.

All they have been giving us is fake. They believe their own lies. Morons!

This past Sunday’s edition of 60 Minutes featured a piece by CBS’s Scott Pelley examining the idea of fake news, but it was far from perfect with a glaring omission, a shocked host and guest that liberals fall for fake news, and downright hypocrisy from the network that promulgated Dan Rather’s fake news.

Going first to who falls for fake news, Pelley’s examples were heavily skewed to so-called right-of-center falsehoods like Pizzagate or Hillary Clinton having Parkinson’s Disease.

Pelley repeatedly told viewers that fake news was an issue on both sides, but never provided any proof until the nine-minute-mark of the 13-minute exposé with two ludicrous headlines about President Trump using drugs and having cancer.

It was soon after this that guest and “internet advertising firm” CEO Jeff Green dropped this admission that both he and Pelley seemed befuddled by:

JEFF GREEN: So the first thing that we found out is that it is definitely a phenomenon that affects both sides.

PELLEY: Liberals and conservatives?

GREEN: Yes. There is no question they’re both affected.

There was yet another surprise in store for these hardcore liberals. After citing a case of left-wing fake news about Congress “plotting to overthrow President Trump,” Green revealed that “fake news readers on the left were more likely to be affluent and college educated.” At the other end, “right-leaning fake news overwhelmingly attracted readers in their 40s and 50s.”

Green admitted that this “shocked me,” and Pelley had a similarly flabbergasted look. Green added that he “thought the same way that many Americans perhaps think is that fake news was a phenomenon that only tricked the uneducated,” but, alas, “not true — just not — the data shows it’s just not true.”

The glaring omission appeared a few minutes earlier while Pelley spoke to Jestin Coler, who “made real money on fake news” but overseeing two of them that fooled people (National Report and the Denver Guardian).

Touting the fact that “he pushed people’s buttons on issues such as abortion and ObamaCare” and reading headlines from some other Coler stories, Pelley shamefully left out the fact that Coler was not a Republican but a registered Democrat.

Hilariously, the pathetic National Public Radio (NPR) found the time to include this tidbit when they profiled Coler on November 23’s All Things Considered:

Coler, a registered Democrat, says he has no regrets about his fake news empire. He doesn’t think fake news swayed the election.

“There are many factors as to why Trump won that don’t involve fake news,” he says. “As much as I like Hillary, she was a poor candidate. She brought in a lot of baggage.”

Also worth noting was Pelley’s lengthy time spent promoting fake news promulgator and far-right commentator Mike Cernovich, who told Mediaite after it aired that he found it to be “fair” and “good journalism.”

When it comes to pushing fake news, 60 Minutes has little room to talk. They most notably peddled the fake 2004 Rather story about then-President George W. Bush, but they had some other hits as well.

In February 2008, Pelley engaged in conspiracy theories by giving a full story to allegations that the Bush administration ran “a covert campaign to ruin” former Democratic Alabama Governor Don Siegelman (who ended up behind bars in 2006 for bribery). Pelley proudly touted supposedly Republican interviewees but, as my colleague Kyle Drennen explained at the time, they were anything but GOPers.

Here’s some other doozies the leftist newsmagazine has fed viewers over the years:

– March 2015: Profiled liberal scientist and fake-quote-master Neil deGrasse Tyson
– May 2011: Lesley Stahl told viewers how “stately” Al Sharpton is
– Any number of the show’s early unflinching love affair with Barack Obama as compiled in our September 2010 Special Report Syurpy Minutes
– November 2009: 60 Minutes commissioned a poll to see if Barack Obama should be put on Mount Rushmore
– January 2009: The late correspondent Bob Simon smeared Israel as an apartheid state
– May 2008: Pelley fretted that illegal immigrants “don’t survive detention” in the U.S.
– September 2007: Pelley swooned over then-Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as being “friendly,” “incorruptible,” and “modest”
– February 2007: Exaggerated levels of military dissension during the Iraq War
– October 2005: Stahl predicted Valerie Plame case “could possibly take off the way Watergate did”

LMAO. Huma and Her Weiner Work on Marriage

Made for each other.

Report: Huma Abedin ‘Working Hard’ to Save Marriage with Anthony Weiner

Former Hillary Clinton operative Huma Abedin is reportedly “working hard” to save her marriage with former Democratic congressman Anthony Weiner, just months after the pair separated as a result of his multiple sexting scandals.

Sources close to the Abedin family told the New York Post that “Huma has been working hard on her relationship with Anthony. He has been spending 80 to 90 percent of his time at the [Irving Place apartment] they share. If there is a disagreement, he goes to his mother’s apartment in Brooklyn.”

“Both [his and her] families are hoping they will reconcile,” the source continued.

Another source supported this story, saying that the couple’s separation was “more for optics for the campaign and pressure from Hillary’s camp.”

The potential reconciliation is perhaps surprising given Weiner’s multiple sexting scandals. The first, exposed in 2011 by the late Andrew Breitbart and dubbed ‘Weinergate,’ led to Weiner’s resignation from Congress and the issuing of a public apology.

In 2013, having declared himself a candidate to be mayor of New York, other photos were published of Weiner sexting another woman under the name ‘Carlos Danger.’ Despite the revelation, Weiner did not pull out the race and eventually finished fifth with just 4.9 percent of the vote.

Coming for you Aunt Esther

n August last year, Abedin revealed that she was separating from Weiner after yet another sexting incident, although she said the pair would continue to work together to raise their son, who could even be seen in one of Weiner’s photos.

Biggest dick in the party

Last October, Weiner checked into a sex addiction facility to overcome his urges, although he was reportedly forced to leave early having run out of money to pay for it. He was also investigated by the FBI over claims he had been sexting a 15-year-old girl. A laptop examined in that investigation reportedly contained emails from Hillary Clinton’s private email server, as both Weiner and Abedin used the device. This development led FBI Director James Comey to announce that the bureau re-opened its investigation of Clinton’s handling of classified information. The Clinton campaign to this day claims the Comey announcement caused significant damage to her candidacy.

The girl claimed that Weiner sent her nude photos, shared pornographic videos with her, discussed his “rape fantasies,” and requested that she undress and masturbate during video calls.

In January, media reports revealed that federal prosecutors were looking into potential charges against Weiner for child pornography,

However, despite all this, Abedin is apparently “still in love” with Weiner, blaming the “pressures of the campaign and presidential race and him drifting off into obscurity” for his latest relapse.

“A lot of [their] friends believe this is an illness, that he is sick. [But] Huma takes it into consideration that there’s been no affair, or physical contact that anybody is aware of. He never met [the women],” the family friend added.

Farange Joins Fight: Split California In Two & End Wackadoodle Leftist Control

Farange: taking down the liberal left in California

Get ready for Calexit! Now Nigel Farage and the ‘Bad Boys of Brexit’ set their sights on splitting California in two

  • Nigel Farage and Leave backer Arron Banks just returned from a trip to California
  • They helped raise $1million for a ‘Calexit’, which would split California in two
  • The appear to be pitting the eastern, more rural side of California against the western ‘coastal elite’ liberals in Los Angeles and San Francisco
  • The eastern part of California would more likely vote Republican, giving the party two more senators and electoral college votes for a 2020 election
  • The Western side of the state would likely continue to vote Democrat
  • The goal is to hold a referendum during the US midterm elections in 2018
  • The ‘Bad Boys of Brexit’ who led the campaign to break Britain away from the European Union have taken on a new exit challenge: splitting California into two states.

Former UKip leader Nigel Farage and Leave backer Arron Banks have just returned from the United States, where they helped raise $1million (£800,000) for a ‘Calexit’ campaign, which would split California into two eastern and western regions.

There are several ‘Calexit’ campaigns competing for a referendum in the United States, with one aiming to remove the state from America entirely as a response to President Donald Trump being elected last year.

Farage and Banks, who led the ‘Leave.EU’ campaign, appear to be pitting the eastern, more rural side of California against the western ‘coastal elite’ liberals in Los Angeles and San Francisco.

If broken apart, the eastern part of California would more likely vote Republican, giving the party two more senators and electoral college votes for a 2020 presidential election.

The Western side of the state would likely continue to vote Democrat in elections.

Farage and Banks’ goal is to hold a referendum during the US midterm elections in 2018, according to The Sunday Times.

Banks said of the campaign: ‘It would be portrayed as the Hollywood elites versus the people, breaking up the bad government. Seventy-eight per cent of people in California are unhappy with their government. It’s the world’s sixth largest economy and it’s very badly run.’

  • Banks said he and Farage wanted to show people in California ‘how to light a fire and win’ the Calexit referendum.

The pair were recruited for the campaign by polling expert Gerry Gunster and Republican Scott Baugh, a former member of the state assembly.

Banks, Farage and their spokesman Andy Wigmore were in California two weeks ago to receive an award for their Brexit campaign from the American Association of Political Consultants.

While in the state, Farage attended several events in Orange County, where Baugh is based, and about $1million was raised for the ‘Calexit’ campaign.

Wigmore said that those who raised money – agriculture tycoons and tech entrepreneurs – have felt ‘left out since [Former President Ronald] Reagan’.

‘This has been done before with West Virginia and Virginia and North and South Dakota, so it can work,’ he said.

Banks added: ‘We were saying that people said the same about Brexit — and we just went and did it. The money was pledged to take it to the next level. This could be the greatest political showdown ever.’

Gunster has helped win 30 state referendums in America and predicted the EU vote within .01 per cent.

In California, 365,800 people have to sign a petition for a proposition to appear on a ballot.

With a population of nearly 40 million, California is one of the most diverse states in America, with whites outnumbered by Hispanics and members of other ethnic groups,

In 2015, it also had the sixth largest economy in the world, according to the International Monetary Fund — ahead of France and India.

In November’s election, the state broke nearly two-to-one in favor of Trump’s Democratic opponent, Hillary Clinton.

Another Calexit campaign emerging, called Yes California, would see the state seceding from America entirely.

Should that initiative make it on the ballot, a ‘Yes’ vote would repeal clauses in the California Constitution ‘stating California is an inseparable part of the United States and that the United States Constitution is the supreme law of the land,’ a statement from California’s Secretary of State Alex Padilla’s office said.

  • Voters would then need to decide in another referendum in 2019 whether California should become a separate country.

Yes California campaigners are pushing for independence on grounds the state is out of step with the rest of the US and could flourish on its own.

‘In our view, the United States of America represents so many things that conflict with Californian values, and our continued statehood means California will continue subsidizing the other states to our own detriment, and to the detriment of our children,’ according to their website.

Farage, the former UKip leader, was the first British politician to meet Trump after his election win.

He and the other ‘Bad Boys of Brexit’ held a boozy Washington DC party ahead of now-President Donald Trump’s inauguration in January

Farage toasted the billionaire tycoon in front of a rowdy crowd during a speech ahead of the presidential win.

In a speech to the packed room he said: ‘Brexit was great but Trump becoming president is Brexit plus, plus, plus. He was right when he said it was a movement – but a movement can’t exist, or flourish, without a leader. And Trump is the only man I’ve ever met in my life who has made me feel like an introvert.

‘He is a larger than life personality. When he was given the rule book for how you run for president he tore up the book and threw it out of the window.

  • ‘And I guess, when I look back in the years to come, perhaps the greatest joy of 2016 was that realisation, as state after state in the mid-West went red, just to see the faces of those democrats.

‘I’ve spent most my life in politics being regarded, I suppose, as the patron saint of lost causes.

‘Through most of my life, what happens in America in terms of social trends or developments, we follow four or five years later. America is the leader.

‘Now I would like to think in my own little way that what we did with Brexit was the beginning of what is going to turn out to be a global revolution and that Trump’s victory is a part of that.’

Farage said: ‘We’ve had Brexit and perhaps that contributed just a little bit to things changing in the USA and who’s to say that bandwagon won’t continue to roll in 2017 across much of Europe.’

In February, Farage posted a picture of him having ‘dinner with The Donald’ on Twitter.

Finding common ground with some of Trump’s criticism of the political establishment, Farage met the president in November and has offered his services as Britain’s ambassador to the United States – something that has been rejected by Prime Minister Theresa May’s government.

Entitled ‘Dinner with The Donald’, Farage posted a picture of himself smiling at a camera, with Trump and four other people around a table in a photo which gave the location as the Trump International Hotel.

Farage and Banks, who led the 'Leave.EU' campaign, appear to be pitting the eastern, more rural side of California against the western 'coastal elite' liberals in Los Angeles and San Francisco in their campaign to split California into two parts

Man’s Name On License Plate Too Offensive For Femi-Nazis

Anyone say anything about pussy? It’s the man’s name for the love of God.

HALIFAX, Nova Scotia (AP) – A Canadian provincial government has withdrawn a man’s eponymous personalized vehicle license plate, saying Lorne Grabher’s surname is offensive to women when viewed on his car bumper.

Grabher said Friday that he put his last name on the license plate decades ago as a gift for his late father’s birthday, and says the province’s refusal to renew the plate late last year is unfair.

Transport Department spokesman Brian Taylor says while the department understands Grabher is a surname with German roots, this context isn’t available to the general public who view it.

The personalized plate program introduced in 1989 allows the province to refuse names when they’re deemed offensive, socially unacceptable and not in good taste.

Religious Left? Are You Freaking Kidding Me?

There is no such thing as a left-wing Christian damit!

(Reuters) – Since President Donald Trump’s election, monthly lectures on social justice at the 600-seat Gothic chapel of New York’s Union Theological Seminary have been filled to capacity with crowds three times what they usually draw.

In January, the 181-year-old Upper Manhattan graduate school, whose architecture evokes London’s Westminster Abbey, turned away about 1,000 people from a lecture on mass incarceration. In the nine years that Reverend Serene Jones has served as its president, she has never seen such crowds.

“The election of Trump has been a clarion call to progressives in the Protestant and Catholic churches in America to move out of a place of primarily professing progressive policies to really taking action,” she said.

Although not as powerful as the religious right, which has been credited with helping elect Republican presidents and boasts well-known leaders such as Christian Broadcasting Network founder Pat Robertson, the “religious left” is now slowly coming together as a force in U.S. politics.

This disparate group, traditionally seen as lacking clout, has been propelled into political activism by Trump’s policies on immigration, healthcare and social welfare, according to clergy members, activists and academics. A key test will be how well it will be able to translate its mobilization into votes in the 2018 midterm congressional elections.

“It’s one of the dirty little secrets of American politics that there has been a religious left all along and it just hasn’t done a good job of organizing,” said J. Patrick Hornbeck II, chairman of the theology department at Fordham University, a Jesuit school in New York.

“It has taken a crisis, or perceived crisis, like Trump’s election to cause folks on the religious left to really own their religion in the public square,” Hornbeck said.

Religious progressive activism has been part of American history. Religious leaders and their followers played key roles in campaigns to abolish slavery, promote civil rights and end the Vietnam War, among others. The latest upwelling of left-leaning religious activism has accompanied the dawn of the Trump presidency.

Some in the religious left are inspired by Pope Francis, the Roman Catholic leader who has been an outspoken critic of anti-immigrant policies and a champion of helping the needy.

Although support for the religious left is difficult to measure, leaders point to several examples, such as a surge of congregations offering to provide sanctuary to immigrants seeking asylum, churches urging Republicans to reconsider repealing the Obamacare health law and calls to preserve federal spending on foreign aid.

The number of churches volunteering to offer sanctuary to asylum seekers doubled to 800 in 45 of the 50 U.S. states after the election, said the Elkhart, Indiana-based Church World Service, a coalition of Christian denominations which helps refugees settle in the United States – and the number of new churches offering help has grown so quickly that the group has lost count.

“The religious community, the religious left is getting out, hitting the streets, taking action, raising their voices,” said Reverend Noel Anderson, its national grassroots coordinator.

In one well-publicized case, a Quaker church in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on March 14 took in a Honduran woman who has been living illegally in the United States for 25 years and feared she would be targeted for deportation.

‘NEVER SEEN’ THIS

Leaders of Faith in Public Life, a progressive policy group, were astounded when 300 clergy members turned out at a January rally at the U.S. Senate attempting to block confirmation of Trump’s attorney general nominee, Jeff Sessions, because of his history of controversial statements on race.

“I’ve never seen hundreds of clergy turning up like that to oppose a Cabinet nominee,” said Reverend Jennifer Butler, the group’s chief executive.

The group on Wednesday convened a Capitol Hill rally of hundreds of pastors from as far away as Ohio, North Carolina and Texas to urge Congress to ensure that no people lose their health insurance as a result of a vote to repeal Obamacare.

Financial support is also picking up. Donations to the Christian activist group Sojourners have picked up by 30 percent since Trump’s election, the group said.

But some observers were skeptical that the religious left could equal the religious right politically any time soon.

“It really took decades of activism for the religious right to become the force that it is today,” said Peter Ubertaccio, chairman of the political science department at Stonehill College, a Catholic school outside Boston.

But the power potential of the “religious left” is not negligible. The “Moral Mondays” movement, launched in 2013 by the North Carolina NAACP’s Reverend William Barber, is credited with contributing to last year’s election defeat of Republican Governor Pat McCrory by Democrat Roy Cooper.

The new political climate is also spurring new alliances, with churches, synagogues and mosques speaking out against the recent spike in bias incidents, including threats against mosques and Jewish community centers.

The Sisterhood of Salaam Shalom, which encourages alliances between Jewish and Muslim women, has tripled its number of U.S. chapters to nearly 170 since November, said founder Sheryl Olitzky.

“This is not about partisanship, but about vulnerable populations who need protection, whether it’s the LGBT community, the refugee community, the undocumented community,” said Rabbi Jonah Pesner, director of the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism, using the acronym for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender.

More than 1,000 people have already signed up for the center’s annual Washington meeting on political activism, about three times as many as normal, Pesner said.

Leaders of the religious right who supported Trump say they see him delivering on his promises and welcomed plans to defund Planned Parenthood, whose healthcare services for women include abortion, through the proposed repeal of Obamacare.

“We have not seen any policy proposals that run counter to our faith,” said Lance Lemmonds, a spokesman for the Faith & Freedom Coalition, a nonprofit group based in Duluth, Georgia.

16 shot, 1 dead in East End night club shooting; victim identified

Cameo Night Club

EAST END, Ohio (WKRC) – Fifteen people were injured and one person is dead after a shooting at the Cameo Night Club in the East End Sunday morning.

Police were called to the club at the 4600 block of Kellogg Avenue around 2:30 a.m. after shots were fired.

Chief Eliot Isaac said in a press conference Sunday that 16 people total were shot, one person dying from their injuries. That victim has been identified as 27-year-old O’Bryan Spikes.

Victims were taken to four area hospitals. Nine victims were taken to UC Medical Center. Seven are in stable condition and, of those seven, five will be released soon. Two victims are in critical condition. Two other victims were taken to Christ Hospital with minor injuries and are in stable condition. Several others were treated at Bethesda North and Mercy Anderson.

It’s not known what led up to the shooting, but police believe the conflict began between specific groups or individuals earlier in the day that escalated into the shooting. Officers say they believe there is one shooter at this time.

Police are actively investigating the scene and interviewing multiple witnesses. Chief Isaac said approximately 100 people were in the bar at the time.

There were officers working details outside the club at the time. The Cameo has a history of violent incidents, including a shooting inside the club on New Year’s Day in 2015 and a shooting in the parking lot in September 2015. There was also a violent incident recently on March 5

. Chief Isaac said security at the club do wand individuals and pat them down, but somehow several firearms were brought into the bar.

“This is going be a long process for us to solve this crime, crimes, plural, and heal as a community,” said Mayor John Cranley. He also urged witnesses or anyone with information to come forward. They can contact Crimestoppers at 352-3040.

“We recognize the horrific nature of this incident,” said City Manager Harry Black. “I have full confidence in our police professionals who are devoting all the necessary resources toward working this case. I want to recognize all of our first responders who answered the call last night and handled a very difficult situation extremely well. As our assessment and investigation continues we will continue to share information as soon as we are able.
