Waters said, “What an inspiring evening this is. I am sitting here listening, watching, absorbing, thinking about Ali even though I never met him and with this kind of inspiration I will go and take Trump out tonight.”

Mitch McConnell’s Former Chief of Staff Calls Steve Bannon a ‘White Supremacist’

Mitch McConnell’s former chief of staff Josh Holmes grew increasingly desperate to stop the rising wave of populist candidates challenging the Senate Republican leadership by calling former White House chief strategist and Breitbart News executive chairman Steve Bannon a “white supremacist.”

Holmes said, “In 2018 we ought to revisit this question and find out if these people are still happy to be associated with Bannon. When you’re facing voters, I’d take one of the most successful majority leaders in history over a white supremacist any day.”

Holmes’ and the establishment Republicans’ influence in the 2018 Senate election continues to fade. Missouri Attorney General Josh Hawley, whom Holmes’ labeled as their first choice for the 2018 midterm election, refuses to endorse Mitch McConnell for majority leader.

“He was our No. 1 recruit of the cycle,” Holmes charged. “We worked our tail off to recruit Josh Hawley.”

Hawley’s spokesman, Scott Paradise, responded in an email questioning whether Hawley would back McConnell.

“The Senate is broken and failing the people of Missouri,” Paradise said.

“Josh is running because he is not willing to tolerate the failure of the D.C. establishment any longer,” Paradise added. “He won’t tolerate Claire McCaskill’s failure. And he won’t tolerate Republican failure, either.”

Montana state auditor Matt Rosendale recently tweeted a picture with Steve Bannon and said that he will end the “D.C. status quo.”

Nearly two dozen Senate Republican candidates refused to openly back Mitch McConnell for majority leader.

Holmes’ statement echoed Sen. Sherrod Brown’s (D-OH) recent comments. Brown also called Bannon a “white supremacist.”

Andy Surabian, a former White House adviser and now a senior adviser to the pro-Trump super PAC Great America Alliance, said, “No amount of smearing can change the fact that not a single U.S. Senate candidate was willing to go on the record and say that they supported Mitch McConnell for Majority Leader. Everyone can see right through the clearly desperate, unfounded and pathetic attacks coming from McConnell Incorporated.”

Harvard Constitutional Law Guru Dershowitz Says NFL Players Have No Right to Kneel

Dershowitz is a classical liberal and an authority on individual rights.

When explaining their reasoning for why national anthem protests should be allowed, many players have been quick to point out that they’re merely exercising their constitutional rights under the First Amendment. Well, someone who has forgotten more about the First Amendment than any inside linebacker will ever know, says that the constitution offers the players no such protection.

During a radio interview with john Castimatidis on 970 AM in New York, constitutional law scholar Alan Dershowitz said that the players have no constitutional right to kneel.

Dershowitz explained, “The players are entitled to kneel if the owners allow them to. Now the owners could say ‘no’ because the players don’t have a First Amendment right in relation to the owners. They only have a First Amendment right in relation to the government.”

Dershowitz added that he believes, the First Amendment is “working well” in the context of the NFL, because “both sides are being heard.”

Dershowitz is certainly correct in his appraisal of the constitutional implications of the player protests. He’s more right than not, when saying that “both sides are being heard.” However, while both sides of the protest debate have spoken, clearly, the NFL is only listening to one side.

Bloody-Face Mika Brzezinski Thinks Trump Wants to Use Nukes

Crazy heifers like Mika would survive a nuclear war, like roaches, so what is she worried about?

On Monday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” co-host Mika Brzezinski argued President Trump is “excited about the concept” of using nuclear weapons and “wants to use nukes.”

Co-host Joe Scarborough said that President Trump is “not limited by the fears that limited JFK or even Ronald Reagan. And by the way, when I say fears, don’t flinch. I mean, you have reason to be scared of a war that could wipe out 500,000 people.”

Brzezinski said, “I just think he wants to use nukes. That’s what I think he feels.”

She added, “You’ve heard him over the past year. He’s excited about the concept.”

Scarborough responded that Trump is “not chained by the same fears that chained JFK and Reagan, a fear of nuclear weapons, a fear of war. And, unfortunately, I think we have to be on guard after that, since he is so contemptuous of the Constitution, that if a war does begin, we have to be very careful about what steps he takes at home domestically, if he does start that war.”

Mark Cuban Might Run for President ‘Probably’ as Republican

Cuban doesn’t know WTF he is

Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban has hinted at running for president in 2020, and if he does, it will “probably” be as a Republican, he said in an interview with TMZ’s Harvey Levin for Fox News Channel’s “OBJECTified.”

Cuban explained it has entered his mind to run for president, but said he is “far from” a decision one way or the other.

LEVIN: Are you a Democrat or a Republican?

CUBAN: I’m fiercely Independent.

LEVIN: But if you run, you’re going to have to run one or the other.

CUBAN: Um, maybe.

LEVIN: Well, if you had to choose, what would you choose?

CUBAN: Probably Republican.

LEVIN: How come?

CUBAN: Because I think there’s a place for somebody who is socially a centrist, but I’m very fiscally conservative. But I think there’s better ways now to make government smaller than the old traditional Republican ways. Again, using technology, you know, government as a service can have a dramatic impact on how we live our lives. If you don’t understand technology, and you don’t understand the impact on jobs that technology is having and will continue to have, then you’re going to run into some severe roadblocks.

Transgender ‘Woman’ Rapes 10-Year-Old in Wyoming Bathroom

Transgender Wyoming woman convicted of sexually assaulting 10-year-old girl in bathroom

A transgender Wyoming woman was convicted Wednesday of sexually assaulting a 10-year-old girl inside a bathroom.

Michelle Martinez, who was known as Miguel Martinez before identifying as female, was found guilty of first-degree and second-degree sexual abuse of a minor and could face up to 70 years in prison.

The Billings Gazette reports Martinez, who is a family friend, invited the girl into the bathroom of a home on March 23, and touched her breasts and genitalia before penetrating her. The girl told her mother immediately after the assault, who then reported it to Casper Police.

After the attack, the girl told police “it hurt inside,” according to the Casper Star Tribune.

Nurses at the Wyoming Medical Center performed a sexual assault exam on the minor and found redness and abrasions around the girl’s genitalia.

When police initially questioned Martinez about the assault, she became “noticeably hostile and defensive” and said the girl was “talking crap” before denying being a child molester. Martinez also called the accusations a “publicity stunt,” the Tribune reported.

Martinez pleaded not guilty on both counts.
