Why Don’t The Goon Just Say Hell Yes I Said It And It’s True?
Joy Reid’s old blog, The Reid Report (2000-2014), is littered with even more anti-gay posts than were originally discovered, reports the far-left blog Mediate. The MSNBC host is claiming these latest discoveries were not written by her, but by hackers as a means “to taint my character.”
Earlier this year, Reid admitted to authoring a number of posts on her old site that mercilessly ridiculed then-Republican Florida Governor Charlie Crist as a homosexual (even after he married a woman). Reid was clearly using homosexuality as a pejorative, as a weapon of ridicule, so the left-wing MSNBC anchor’s homophobia has already been well- established.
Nevertheless, after she apologized for this (and because she is not a conservative), Reid was allowed to resume a media career that traffics in conspiracy theories, race-baiting, and uninformed Trump-bashing.
Here are some the new finds on Reid’s old site that she claims she did not write:
Keeping it real … most straight men feel exactly the same way, and would have the exact same reaction to the idea of stripping naked in a sweaty locker room in close quarters with a gay teammate. Most straight people cringe at the sight of two men kissing… Most straight people had a hard time being convinced to watch ‘Broke Back Mountain.’ (I admit that I couldn’t go see the movie either, despite my sister’s ringing endorsement, because I didn’t want to watch the two male characters having sex.)
Does that make me homophobic? Probably. And I’m not exactly proud of it. But part of the intrinsic nature of “Straightness” is that the idea of homosexual sex is … well … gross … even if you think that gay people are perfectly lovely individuals. For the record I’m sure gay people think straight sex is gross, too, it’s the that the nature of political correctness is that gay people are allowed to say straight sex is gross but the reverse is considered to be patently homophobic.
While defending a Marine General who declared homosexual acts “immoral,” Reid (or her hacker) wrote in 2007…
“Some people use the [word] ‘immoral’ when they really mean ‘distasteful’ — I think a lot of heterosexuals, especially men, find the idea of homosexual sex to be … well … gross, and they lump it in with immorality.”
Mediaite adds that Reid (or her hacker) went on, “And then there are the concerns that adult gay men tend to be attracted to very young, post-pubescent types, bringing them ‘into the lifestyle’ in a way that many people consider to be immoral… Ditto with gay rights groups that seek to organize very young, impressionable teens who may have an inclination that they are gay.”
Other posts included a list of the top five “totally not gay celebrities” that included CNN’s Anderson Cooper, and singer Clay Aiken, who were only rumored at the time to be gay. In 2005, seven years before he came out, Reid said that Cooper is the “gayest thing on TV” and added that she has it “on good authority that Cooper is totally gay.”
Interestingly enough, Mediaite adds that Reid repeatedly wrote about opposing same sex marriage.
Reid’s hacker must have been fairly busy and thorough because dozens of politicians and celebrities were hit with gay jokes, according to Mediaite, including one aimed at her current colleague, MSNBC’s Chris Matthews.
Here is Reid’s full denial:
In December I learned that an unknown, external party accessed and manipulated material from my now-defunct blog, The Reid Report, to include offensive and hateful references that are fabricated and run counter to my personal beliefs and ideology.
I began working with a cyber-security expert who first identified the unauthorized activity, and we notified federal law enforcement officials of the breach. The manipulated material seems to be part of an effort to taint my character with false information by distorting a blog that ended a decade ago.
Now that the site has been compromised I can state unequivocally that it does not represent the original entries. I hope that whoever corrupted the site recognizes the pain they have caused, not just to me, but to my family and communities that I care deeply about: LGBTQ, immigrants, people of color and other marginalized groups.
It is worth noting, however, that Reid does admit these posts came from her blog … with the caveat that they were added by nefarious hackers after she had the site shut down. It’s unclear when the nefarious hackers would have hacked her site and added the controversial content, since it has been defunct for years and still is. More importantly, NBC could or would not specify exactly which posts Reid is claiming were doctored.
On top of Reid, there is Saturday Night Live star Alex Badwin, who has long history of homophobia. Morning Joe co-host Mika Brzezinski slut-shamed a woman who had photographic proof disgraced ex-Senator Al Franken (D-MN) groped her. Despite credible allegations of “stalking, groping and making explicit comments to female colleagues,” NBC still hired Mike Tircio to anchor the Winter Olympics. Andrea Mitchell is a rape denier. NBC paid off a staffer who accused Chris Matthews of harassment, and no fewer than six NBC staffers were fired for various acts of sexual misconduct, which in some cases went on for years.
Being a homophobe, sex abuser, or enabler, appears to be the opposite of a disqualifier at NBC News, so Reid has nothing to worry about.
During an interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos, former FBI Director James Comey’s wife, Patrice, confessed that she supported Hillary Clinton and was “devastated” when Donald Trump won.
“I wanted a woman president really badly, and I supported Hillary Clinton,” Patrice Failor Comey told Stephanopoulos. “A lot of my friends worked for her. And I was devastated when she lost.”
James Comey admitted that his wife and girls all took part in the Women’s March in response to Donald Trump’s election.
“My wife and girls marched in the Women’s March, the day after President Trump’s inauguration,” he said. “At least my four daughters — probably all five of my kids, wanted Hillary Clinton to be the first woman president. I know my amazing spouse did.”
Negro Please! He Is Such A Fraud And A Cancer. He Does Not Want To Play Football.
The Seattle Seahawks reportedly postponed Colin Kaepernick’s trip to a pre-season camp with the team after the embattled quarterback told the team he would not stop his national anthem kneeling protests.
The team is thinking about allowing Kaepernick to try out for a spot on the team but they have not made any decisions, a source told ESPN.
Kaepernick, a former San Francisco 49ers quarterback, was contacted by the Seahawks around two weeks ago to make a trip to the team’s center and practice. A source told ESPN the trip was put off after the Seahawks argued about Kaepernick’s anthem protest.
It’s unclear what day the quarterback was supposed to practice with the team.
The team reportedly asked Kaepernick if he would continue his protest if he was signed to the NFL again and he was “unwilling to give that assurance to them.”
Kaepernick began kneeling during the national anthem during the 2016 to 2017 season as part of a protest against police brutality while he was with the San Francisco 49ers. Many other NFL players joined his protest, which angered many — most notably President Trump, who said Kaepernick should have been “suspended” for kneeling.
“The NFL should have suspended him for one game and he would have never done it again,” Trump told Fox News Sean Hannity in October. “They could have then suspended him for two games and they could have suspended him again if he did it a third time, for the season, and you would never have had a problem.”
On Tuesday, Kaepernick attended a deposition with NFL lawyers in New York.
In October, Kaepernick filed a grievance case accusing NFL owners of colluding against him to keep him out of the league under a collective bargaining agreement. He opted out of his contract with the 49ers following the 2016 to 2017 season and has remained unsigned.
Since Kaepernick opted out of his contract, no NFL team has contacted him to join the team. The Baltimore Ravens were reportedly thinking about signing him last year but decided not to go forward.
Following news of the snub, ESPN senior correspondent Jemele Hill began tweeting about the report. Hill tweeted, “You mean it wasn’t just a football decision? :clutches imaginary pearls.”
“He’s such a locker room cancer that his teammates gave him the Len Eshmont Award, which is given to the player who best exemplifies courage and inspiration. Great point by you,” Hill tweeted to a social media user.
I’m going to take a wild guess and say she is on drugs right?
A West Virginia woman was arrested for beheading her boyfriend before telling cops, “You have to take me back and let me get my heads,” as they drove her away from the bloody scene, authorities said.
A judge in Mercer County said further assessment is needed to evaluate the mental competency of Roena Cheryl Mills, who is charged with second-degree murder in the death of 29-year-old Bo Allen White, WVNS reported.
Mills, according to court documents obtained by the station, was found covered in blood while wearing a glove on her left hand when deputies responded on April 1 to a home on Eden Valley Road in Lerona.
Using a fake name, Mills, 41, told responding deputies she was cut and left bloodied after being thrown through a glass door. She then got combative with officers and was placed under arrest. Once inside a deputy’s cruiser, Mills reportedly said: “You have to take me back and let me get my heads.”
Later that day, cops were tipped off to the decapitated body of a man found on another block in town. A different, unidentified part of his body was also found where Mills was arrested, WVNS reports.
The killing, according to the criminal complaint, was a “decapitation homicide,” Mercer County Prosecuting Attorney George Sitler said.
“That’s how it appears,” Sitler told West Virginia MetroNews.
A court-ordered mental status evaluation will determine if Mills can face trial in White’s brutal death. The case will then be presented to a grand jury in June. If 12 of 16 grand jurors find probable cause in the alleged killing, Mills will be indicted either on a first- or second-degree murder charge, according to the prosecutor.
“Even though she’s only been initially charged with second-degree murder because there was some initial doubt about premeditation, [the] grand jury could certainly indict her for first-degree murder,” Sitler told the station.
Mills, of Rural Retreat, Virginia, remained in custody at the Southern Regional Jail in Raleigh on $210,000 cash-only bail as of Monday, jail records show.
While in custody at the jail, Mills — who was dating White, according to his father — had been talking about killing someone, employees told WVNS.
Deputies were called to the second home after its owners saw someone suspicious in their driveway, WVNews reports. A glove matching one that Mills was wearing at the time was found earlier at White’s home, according to the station.

Four-term Republican Rep. Blake Farenthold (R., Texas) resigned from Congress Friday afternoon after staffers accused him of sexual harassment and creating a negative work environment in his office.
He had already announced that he would not seek re-election in his Texas district.
In a statement, Farenthold said that he had planned to serve the rest of his term, but said he knew “in [his] heart that it’s time for [him] to move along and look for new ways to serve.”
He Looks Like A Perv. Look At How He Is Cutting His Eyes.
Politico reported that he had been considering a resignation in the face of a potential Ethics Committee investigation into his behavior.
Farenthold had settled a former aide’s sexual harassment lawsuit against him in 2014 using $84,000 in taxpayer dollars.
The former congressman denied any wrongdoing, but admitted that he “allowed a workplace culture in my office that was too permissive and decidedly unprofessional,” and that he failed to “treat people with the respect that they deserved.”
The National Republican Congressional Committee released a statement expressing hope he would pay back the $84,000.
“I thank Blake Farenthold for his service in Congress,” said NRCC Chairman Steve Stivers. “I hope Blake is true to his word and pays back the $84,000 of taxpayer money he used as a settlement. As I have said repeatedly, Congress must hold ourselves to a higher standard and regain the trust of the American people.”
“I’m confident we’ll have a Republican in this seat come November.”
She Is Not A Negro But Was Offended By The Term Negro.
A Columbia University student publicly complained about her professor using the word “Negro,” even though he said it in a lesson about 1960s America.
The Columbia Daily Spectorran a storyThursday about what happens “when professors make racially insensitive remarks.” The paper cited a complaint by student Maria Fernanda Martinez of a perceived “microagression.” Martinez said her professor told the class it was appropriate to use the term “Negro” when discussing the 1960’s, a time when that was the politically correct term for African-Americans.
“Martinez, troubled by these comments, sent her professor an email after class, including links to resources about why using the term is offensive, but said she saw no real change in her professor’s approach to teaching the material,” the Spector reported.
“I didn’t pay attention in class after that,” Martinez said.
The Spector reported Martinez, nevertheless, didn’t report the instance “because she felt that his comments were ill-informed rather than targeted at her.”
But in an email to the Spector, Professor Todd Gitlin defended the educational use of the word. “It is in fact true, a matter of historical record, that African Americans in the ’50s and ’60s wanted to be called ‘Negroes.’ Denying that practice would be a falsification of history,” he wrote.
Gitlin is in a position to speak with some authority on the matter; he was president of the left-wing Students for Democratic Action at the height of the civil rights movement in the early 1960s.
In another instance highlighted by the paper, a student complained her English professor said the N-word when reading out loud from a book.
“It’s hard to continue on, not knowing if you are welcome in a space completely or [if] people have the knowledge to welcome you to a space,” she said.
