4 Police Shot In Houston, And 1 Is Dead Because Criminals Are Released From Jail

The man arrested in Mexico for the murder of a Harris County Precinct 5 corporal was a 25-year fugitive out of Harris County, law enforcement officials revealed at a press conference Thursday.

According to Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg, 51-year-old Oscar Rosales was charged with aggravated assault with a knife in the county in 1995.

“It is apparent that Oscar Rosales, a 25-year fugitive out of Harris County for the crime of aggravated assault, has been violent before,” Ogg said.

Rosales, who at the time went by the alias “Maurico Aguilar Albarenga,” pled guilty and was sentenced to five years. Ogg said investigators believe he has used many identities over the years.

However, Ogg said a motion to revoke deferred adjudication was filed on May 10, 1996 because he failed to complete community service.

Rosales absconded from parole and has been a wanted criminal ever since, Ogg said.

She said Rosales has ties to El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras. Officials believe he may have potential gang or cartel affiliation.

According to Ogg, Rosales is also reportedly wanted for murder in El Salvador, and officials will be contacting other Central American countries to notify them about his arrest.

“This case has all the ear markings, and is a death penalty case,” Ogg said.

If Rosales is found guilty of capital murder of a police officer, his sentence would either be the death penalty or life in prison without parole.

However, law enforcement agencies are still conducting investigations into the deadly shooting.

Rosales is due to appear in court on Friday at 9 a.m.

At the press conference Thursday, officials from the Houston Police Department, Harris County Precinct 5, the Texas Department of Public Safety, FBI and more spoke on how Rosales’ arrest was a state-wide collaborative effort.

Just the day before, U.S. Marshals were able to track the 51-year-old suspect to Ciudad de Acuña, Mexico, just along the U.S.-Mexico border, and arrest him.

Rosales was flown back to the Houston area Wednesday night before he appeared before a judge in Harris County Probable Cause Court, where he was ordered held without bond.

Earlier in the week, Houston Police Chief Troy Finner said Rosales was tied to Galloway’s murder on Jan. 23, based on video evidence showing the suspect shooting the 47-year-old member of the Harris County Precinct 5 Constable’s Office.

According to investigators, Galloway stopped a vehicle for a traffic stop in the 9100 block of Beechnut, when Rosales allegedly got out of the car and started firing at the corporal’s vehicle with an assault rifle.
Galloway was shot multiple times and died at the scene in what investigators called an ambush attack.

Since then, authorities arrested Rosales’ wife and brother-in-law, Reina Marquez and Henri Mauricio Pereira-Marquez, who are accused of tampering with evidence by wiping down the inside of the suspect’s vehicle.

Both Reina and Henri were subjected to house arrest and given a $100,000 bond each. As of Wednesday, Reina posted bond, but remains in custody on an immigration hold. Henri, meanwhile, is still locked up.

An ICE spokesperson provided the following statement regarding the arrests:
“On Jan. 25, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Houston Field Office lodged immigration detainers with the Harris County (Texas) Sheriff’s Office on Henri Mauricio Pereira Marquez, a 42-year-old noncitizen from Mexico, and Reina Azucena Pereira Marquez, a 40-year-old noncitizen from El Salvador, after they were both arrested by the Houston Police Department (HPD) for allegedly tampering or fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair.
On Jan. 26, U.S. immigration officials lodged a detainer with the Val Verde County Detention Center in Del Rio, Texas, on Jose Oscar Rosales, a 50-year-old citizen of El Salvador, following his arrest in Ciudad de Acuña, Mexico, for capital murder. Rosales previously illegally entered the U.S. on an unknown date and at unknown location without inspection or parole by U.S. immigration officials and later fled to Mexico after allegedly murdering a Harris County (Texas) Constables Office deputy.”

Unfortunately, Galloway’s killing wasn’t the only death in the Houston-area law enforcement community over the past weekend. Sgt. Ramon Gutierrez of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office was working an off-duty motorcycle escort job early Monday when he was hit by a driver who may have been intoxicated.

Suspect accused of shooting 3 officers now in custody after hourslong standoff, HPD says

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — An hourslong standoff in the Fifth Ward has come to an end after the suspect accused of shooting three police officers near downtown Houston was taken into custody, police said.

Roland Caballero, who was identified as the man who opened fire on the officers following a chase, was taken to the hospital after police said he suffered a gunshot wound to the neck.

The scene unfolded at about 2:42 p.m. Thursday in the 1500 block of Trallee Street, as officers were responding to a disturbance call. Police said Caballero took off from the scene as soon as he spotted the officers.

According to Houston Police Chief Troy Finner, Caballero crashed out at McGowen Street and Hutchins, where he immediately began shooting at the officers as they arrived.

Officers managed to return fire at Caballero, but it’s unknown if he was struck. Once he was out of the car, Caballero carjacked a white Mercedes Benz at gunpoint, Finner said.

That’s when he led officers on another chase, which ended at a home in the 1800 block of Lockwood. Caballero has since barricaded himself in the home for hours, but was taken into custody at about 7 p.m., according to Finner.
The officers shot at the scene on McGowen Street were taken to Memorial Hermann hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. One of the officers was shot in the arm, a second was shot in the leg, and the third was shot in the foot, authorities said.

The injured officers were identified as 35-year-old Officer Gadson, 32-year-old Officer Hayden, and 28-year-old Officer Alvarez.

“I want everybody, all our leaders, no more excuses, everybody take an active role and get intentional and do whatever you can do to fight gun violence,” Finner said during a briefing Thursday evening. “It’s not a difficult thing.”
Finner’s call for action comes as this is the second shooting involving law enforcement in the Houston area within a week. Over the weekend, Harris County Precinct 5 Constable Corporal Charles Galloway was shot and killed in an ambush attack while conducting a traffic stop.

The suspect in Galloway’s murder, 51-year-old Oscar Rosales, was taken into custody on Wednesday after he was found at a hotel in Ciudad de Acuña, Mexico, according to U.S. Marshal Deputy Cameron Welch.

Gov. Kathy Hochul Compares Wearing Sneakers To Wearing Mask

While celebrities party without masks at ritzy Met Gala gatherings, in that very same state, school kids, who have the least to worry about from the coronavirus, are cruelly forced to wear masks all day. And what’s Gov. Kathy Hochul’s (D-NY) response to this obscenity? Governor Science just compared wearing masks to wearing … sneakers.

“My daughter had a meltdown about having to put sneakers on to go to kindergarten,” Governor Science said Friday. “She got used to wearing sneakers in school. They adapt better than adults do.”
Since when is the notion that children can adapt justification for cruelty and abuse?

But don’t you see…? That’s all she can say because no science justifies what forcing children into masks does to their social development and emotional well-being. And how many of those kids have been wearing cloth masks for two years, which the CDC has finally admitted are all but useless?
Imagine that?
Imagine how many kids have been wearing cloth masks for two years for no rational reason? Two years. I can hardly stand sitting through a doctor’s appointment in a mask, and these kids have been tortured nine hours a day for two years in ineffective masks.

A sane and compassionate Democrat party would be looking for reasons to put an end to this mask madness. But instead, Democrats do the exact opposite. In fact, Democrats are so desperate to continue this child abuse, the governor of New York is willing to make a fool of herself with desperate analogies comparing shoes and masks.
If that isn’t bad enough, in a country besieged by violent crime, record inflation, record coronavirus infections, and hospitalizations… In a country without enough COVID tests or products to stock our store shelves… In a country with exploding energy prices, an open border, and no off-ramp for these fascist COVID restrictions… Press Secretary Lyin’ Ginger’s advice to “pissed off” Americans is to “go to kickboxing class” and “have a margarita.”

She was specifically trying to console fascist crybabies upset over the White House’s failure to rig the voting process, but “kickboxing class” and a “margarita”?
Who are these freaks?
Who can enjoy a workout class in a mask?

To go out for a margarita, you have to risk catching the very same virus Biden promised to shut down, and you’d better be ready to “show your papers” in the form of a vaccine passport.
I guess you could make those margaritas at home, that is if your grocery store has margarita mix in stock.

Crazy Houston Texas Mom Put COVID-Positive Son In The Trunk Of The Car

The Texas mom who was charged after her COVID-positive son was found in the trunk of her car at a testing site has received support from the community.
Sarah Beam, who is a teacher at Cypress Falls High School in Houston, is being described as “the best teacher ever” and “a teacher with a heart of gold” in signs hanging outside her home. The bright signs also read, “We appreciate you,” and “your students have your back,” WFAA reported.

Beam was charged with felony endangering a child following a Jan. 3 incident where her 13-year-old son was found in the trunk of her car at a drive-thru testing site.
Beam allegedly told a health official at the testing site that her son had previously tested positive for COVID and she put him inside the trunk to prevent her from getting exposed again, according to the complaint.

Authorities also reviewed surveillance footage from the testing site showing the child exiting the trunk of the car and getting into the backseat.
She was placed on administrative leave at the school district.

“CFPD was alerted that a child was in the trunk of a car at a drive-thru COVID-19 testing site earlier this week,” a Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District statement to Fox News last week said. “Law enforcement conducted a full investigation, resulting in a warrant for arrest.”
The teenager was not hurt during the incident, but police say he could have been if Beam got into an accident.

She was released on a $1,500 bond over the weekend and is expected next in court on Thursday.

We celebrate the birth of the lord Jesus Christ, and it is because of him we have true freedom.

In Isaiah chapter 9 verses 6 and 7 say;

6 For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
7 Of the greatness of his government and peace
there will be no end.

Also we see the miraculous birth told in Luke chapter 2.

Six Black Men Arrested For Hate Crimes Against Asian Women In California

Six men arrested in connection with 70 crimes targeting Bay Area Asian women, police say
Many of the Asian women were injured during the incidents, according to authorities

Six men have been arrested in connection to a string of robberies allegedly targeting Asian women in the Bay Area, concluding a yearlong investigation, according to authorities.
Authorities said the six suspects worked together on more than 70 incidents of robbery, theft and burglary from October 2020 to September 2021. Firearms, including one ghost gun, were recovered during the investigation.

Twenty-four-year-old Anthony Michael Robinson of Stockton; Cameron Alonzo Moody, 27, of East Palo Alto; Derje Damond Blanks, 23, of San Jose; Hassani Burleson Ramsey, 24, of Oakland; Clarence Jackson, 21, of East Palo Alto and Malik Short, 21, of Tracy were also charged with hate crime enhancements by the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office, San Jose police said in a Wednesday news release.
More than 100 Asian women throughout Santa Clara County and the Bay Area were targeted in the crimes, according to Santa Clara County District Attorney Jeff Rosen, who added that the prosecution of the case is ongoing. Some of the women were injured during the crimes.

“They targeted Asian women, they thought Asian women don’t use banks and they made other ethnic slurs against Asians,” Rosen said at a Wednesday press conference in the Little Saigon neighborhood of San Jose. “I decided to charge this also as a hate crime for a few reasons. Number one, it adds additional time in custody, which is appropriate for a case of this magnitude. Number two, I recognize that a hate crime doesn’t only affect the individuals involved… it also affects the people in the Asian American community who were not targeted in that it makes them fearful that they may be next.”
Over the course of the yearlong investigation, authorities used cell phone evidence, video surveillance, search warrants, interviews and other methods to determine that 177 robberies throughout the Bay Area were connected, according to Shab.
Three of the suspects are in custody and the other three were released, said San Jose Police Captain Brian Shab at the press conference. One of the men faces a maximum sentence of 95 years in prison, according to Shab.

San Jose Chief of Police Anthony Mata said that Vietnamese women were targeted in Little Saigon.
“The partnership we have with the district attorney’s office, our city, specifically our council member Maya Esparza, other city departments,” Mata said. “Working together to charge a hate crime enhancement for these individuals because they were specifically targeting Vietnamese females, not only in this area here but also throughout the Bay Area.”

The arrests mark the end of the investigation into robberies.
“There is no doubt that these suspects believed they could prey on these victims because of their ethnicity and because of their gender,” Shab said at the conference. “They believed that they were going to be easy targets and that they were carrying large sums of cash.”

Jackson and Short were arrested in November 2021, according to Shab, who said that there were robberies witnessed by police officers on the day of the final arrest. Authorities didn’t release the dates that Jackson and Short were arrested.
Moody, Robinson and Blanks were arrested in September 2021 and charged with felony robbery and hate crimes, police said. The men allegedly targeted Asian women because they believed they would be carrying cash.
Ethnic slurs were allegedly used against some of the women by the three men and officials said the suspects followed the women to their cars in parking lots and waited until they were inside before opening the door or breaking a window to snatch a purse from their passenger seat.
Ramsey was arrested in August after San Jose detectives apprehended him in Oakland on suspicion of felony robbery and misdemeanor vandalism, police said. He was suspected to be involved in nine thefts and robberies in San Jose and up to 30 more in Oakland, Newark, Hayward, Union City and other parts of Alameda County.
“This community has suffered,” Esparza said. “There was tremendous amount of fear during COVID, during the hate crimes. People that were afraid to live their lives and so the message is: Little Saigon for open business, is safe. The city of San Jose stands together to ensure the safety of people here in Little Saigon.”
