A leading young Democrat and de Blasio administration employee has a secret taste for sickening kiddie porn that involves baby girls as young as 6 months old, court papers revealed Friday.

Jacob Schwartz, 29, was busted for allegedly keeping more than 3,000 disgusting images and 89 videos on a laptop after downloading the filth from the internet.

The illegal smut shows “young nude females between the approximate ages of 6 months and 16, engaging in sexual conduct… on an adult male,” court papers say.

Schwartz’s father — labor lawyer and Democratic insider Arthur Schwartz — called his son’s case “a personal tragedy.”

“I understand these are serious charges,” said the elder Schwartz, who watched his son get arraigned in Manhattan Criminal Court on Thursday night.

“He’s already in therapy for this.”

Jacob Schwartz surrendered to NYPD computer-crimes investigators in Manhattan’s 13th Precinct on Thursday morning, sources said.

He’d been under investigation since March 29, when he handed over his laptop and gave cops written permission to search it, court papers say.

Jacob Schwartz is the president of the Manhattan Young Democrats and the downstate region vice president of the New York State Young Democrats.

But his name and photo were scrubbed from both groups’ Web sites after The Post broke the news of his arrest.

A statement from the Manhattan Young Democrats said the organization was “shocked” by the allegations against Schwartz, and added that he was “no longer a member of the board, and an interim president is now in place.”

A photo posted last year on Twitter shows him posing with Robby Mook, then the campaign manager for Hillary Clinton’s disastrous presidential campaign.

Schwartz is employed as a $66,360-a-year computer programmer analyst in the city Department of Design and Construction, where he works on the “Build It Back” Hurricane Sandy recovery and resiliency program.

Schwartz was hired after working there as an intern in fiscal 2015, records show.

De Blasio ignored questions about his arrest following a news conference in The Bronx, but a spokeswoman later said Schwartz “is being terminated immediately, and the agency is cooperating with investigators.”

According to his online biography, Schwartz got involved in politics at a young age, helping his father campaign for Democratic district leader in Greenwich Village.

The elder Schwartz served as New York counsel to Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders’ failed presidential campaign, and was also the campaign treasurer for law professor and liberal activist Zephyr Teachout when she challenged Gov. Andrew Cuomo for the 2014 Democratic nomination.

Arthur Schwartz also had his own brush with the law in 2015, when he was busted for removing hidden surveillance cameras trained on the front door of a $700-a-month, rent-stabilized apartment occupied by a 93-year-old client battling her landlord.

Prosecutors agreed to drop felony grand larceny charges in exchange for Arthur Schwartz paying $720 in restitution.

Jacob Schwartz attended Lehigh University, where he was a member of the “On Tap” a capella singing group, which later scored a gig on the Celebrity Infinity cruise ship.

The all-male quartet scored high marks on the “Cruise Critic” website, where a member from Denmark wrote in 2013, “we really enjoyed the On Tap boys on our Infinity cruise to Alaska.”

Jacob Schwartz was charged with promoting a sexual performance by a child and possessing a sexual performance by a child under 16, both felonies, and released on $7,500 bail.

Eminem and Timberlake Raise $2m for Manchester Terrorism Victims

Although you’d wish it wouldn’t take a tragedy to help bring people together, it’s heartwarming to see people come together for charitable causes for any reason. Following the attack at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, several celebrities have stepped up to help make a difference for the attack victims and their families.

Eminem is one of the big names helping lead the way on that front. He shared a link on his Twitter page to a fund set up by the Manchester Evening News and British Red Cross, imploring followers to join him in donating money to help.

The Detroit native using social media to help promote the cause is significant, because he tends to shy away from social media use in general. Most of his feed is dedicated to promoting tours or upcoming work of his, including a tease for the upcoming anniversary edition of The Eminem Show. Taking the time to lend his voice to the cause shows you how seriously he’s taking it.

Other notable voices in the music industry chipped in to raise awareness for the cause, including Justin Timberlake.

Those two names alone are big enough to make a difference; Timberlake and Eminem have over 80 million Twitter followers between the two of them, and with voices like theirs behind the cause, over £1,770,000—or almost $2.3 million—has already been raised to assist families affected by the attack. The campaign’s ultimate goal of £2 million is on the verge of being met within days of being set up.

8th Graders Send Paul Ryan to Hell

For students across the country, the traditional eighth-grade trip to Washington is a chance to join the throngs on the Mall and perhaps spot some of the world’s most powerful people on the grounds of the U.S. Capitol.

But a group from South Orange Middle School in New Jersey will probably remember their trip to the nation’s capital last week for another reason: It was the occasion for a pointed snub of House Speaker Paul D. Ryan (R-Wisconsin).

About half of the roughly 150 students on the trip refused to have their photo taken with Ryan when he briefly joined them outside the capitol Thursday. Instead, they stood across the street while Ryan posed with their peers.

Matthew Malespina, 13, said in an interview Sunday that he chose not to be photographed with Ryan because he disagreed with the policies the speaker and his party are pushing on health care, among other things.

“I don’t want to be associated with a man who puts his party before his country,” Matthew said. “I don’t like to take a picture with somebody that I can’t associate with. Let’s say somebody is not nice to me at school, for example. I wouldn’t take a picture with them, probably.”

Asked about the incident Sunday, a spokesman for Ryan said the speaker “always appreciates the opportunity to welcome students to the Capitol.”

Ryan posted a picture of himself on Instagram Friday giving a fist-bump to one of the students in the group that agreed to pose.

“Got that #FridayFeeling,” the post said.

Matthew’s mother, Elissa Malespina, a public-school librarian, said she was surprised but pleased to hear of the students’ protest action.

“I’m proud of him, and I’m proud of the other students that chose to exercise their constitutional rights and did so in a respectful manner,” she said.

Although little blowback has come their way in the liberal suburb of South Orange, N.J., Elissa Malespina said some of the online comments on news stories about the students’ actions have been vitriolic, often focusing on the parents.

“Our community has been supportive of what has happened,” she said. “Outside our area, people have said that they should shoot the parents.”

She said that while politics are a frequent topic of discussion in their household, criticism that she or other parents “indoctrinated” the kids involved is unfounded.

“Teenagers, honestly, do they listen to their parents anyway?”

Law Firm Blocking Deportation of Rochdale Muslim Grooming Gang

A top immigration judge has criticized a “cavalier and unprofessional” law firm for obstructing the deportation of members of the Rochdale child sex gang and “weakening the rule of law”.

Only two of the nine men convicted following the Rochdale child grooming scandal remain in prison, and four are using taxpayers’ money to fight deportation to Pakistan.

The Nottingham based Sneinton law practice has fought to keep the four rapists – who were the focus a recent BBC drama Three Girls – in the UK. The men hold dual UK and Pakistani citizenship.

Mr. Justice Bernard McCloskey launched the attack at a hearing to discuss the cases of Shabir Ahmed, Adil Khan, Qari Abdul Rauf, and Abdul Aziz, who were convicted in 2012 of grooming, raping, and trafficking girls as young as 13.

According to the Nottingham Post, the judge threatened to refer lawyers handling the appeals to their professional bodies for disciplinary action, saying their behaviour could be regarded as being in contempt of court.

In a report into an adjournment in December, published last month, the judge said “scarce judicial and administrative resources have been wasted” by the firm, which is trying to stall proceedings by making appeals for adjournments and not filing reports on time.

He linked the actions to a number of other cases where proceeding had been stalled and delayed using tactics.

Describing the situation as “frankly shameful”, he said: “To describe this state of affairs as grossly unsatisfactory is an acute understatement. The tribunal has been treated with sustained and marked disrespect.

“The conduct of these appeals has been cavalier and unprofessional. The rule of law has been weakened in consequence. Disturbingly, there have been multiple recent examples of similar conduct and misconduct.

“In a recent lecture to the Law Society I spoke of the vital importance of partnership between the legal profession and the judiciary, There is no evidence of this partnership in these cases.”

The gang’s ringleader Shabir Ahmed, 64, has already lost an appeal against his possible deportation in the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR), during which he claimed his convictions were a conspiracy by police and members of the jury to “scapegoat” Muslims.

Britain Could Enforce Martial Law And Place The Military In The Streets

 

The British government has raised the country’s terror threat level to “critical”, indicating the military may be deployed onto UK streets.

 

The move — following an emergency meeting of Cabinet Office Briefing Room (COBR) — takes the UK to its highest terror threat level for the first time in a decade.

In June 2007, the level was raised from ‘Severe’, indicating a “an attack is highly likely” to ‘Critical’, indicating “an attack is expected imminently” following the discovery of multiple car bombs at locations outside nightclubs and airports.

The Joint Terrorism Analysis Centre (JTAC), which in turn reports to security services such as MI5, is responsible for the elevated threat level following the Monday night terrorist attack in Manchester that killed 22 and injured over 100 people.

The threat level had previously been downgraded to ‘Substantial’ meaning an attack is a “strong possibility” between July 2011 and August 2014. It was then raised to Severe in response to events in Iraq and Syria, coinciding with a high point of territorial gain by the Islamic State.

The United Kingdom has five terror levels: Low, Moderate, Substantial, Severe, and Critical. Since the implementation of the new levels in 2006, the rating has never dropped below Substantial.

Reports emerging from the UK press also suggest around 5,000 members of the UK’s military may be deployed onto British streets in order to deter attacks.

Unlike its European counterparts, Britain has little tradition of deploying the military on domestic soil. The last serious deployment was in 2003, when tanks were stationed at Heathrow Airport in an attempt to disrupt a passenger airliner bomb plot. Around 450 troops were also deployed at this time.

Prior to that, the last time a major British Army contingent was deployed in Britain was during the Troubles, when Irish Republican terrorists routinely targeted British population centres, one of which included the central Manchester area just five minutes from the arena where Ariana Grande’s concert ended in terror on Monday night.

During the Troubles, the British army deployed 21,000 troops.

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein Appoints former FBI Director Robert Mueller As Special Counsel

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein has appointed former FBI Director Robert Mueller to serve as special counsel to oversee the previously confirmed FBI investigation of Russian efforts to influence the 2016 presidential election and related matters.

“I have determined that a Special Counsel is necessary in order for the American people to have full confidence in the outcome,” Rosenstein said in a statement.

The letter announcing the appointment reads that Mueller is authorized to investigate “any links and/or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump; and…any matters that arose or may arise directly from the investigation.”

The appointment comes as numerous Democratic lawmakers have called for a special counsel, colloquially known as a special prosecutor. Such calls increased in recent days after Mr. Trump fired FBI Director James Comey. On Tuesday, it was revealed the Comey had written a memo alleging that Mr. Trump had asked him to back off from investigation former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn. The memo allegedly says that the president said, in a private conversation with Comey at the White House, “I hope you can see your way clear to letting this go, to letting Flynn go. He is a good guy. I hope you can let this go.”

Rosenstein’s letter announcing the appointment of Mueller says, “If the Special Counsel believes it is necessary and appropriate, the special counsel is authorized to prosecute federal crimes arising from the investigation of these matters.”

CBS News’ Paula Reid reports that the FBI investigators who are currently on this case may stay on the case. Mueller will have discretion on who he uses in his probe.

Democrats on Capitol hill are embracing this as a victory, and many of them, along with a small number of Republicans have been calling for a special prosecutor. Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-California, said in a statement that Mueller’s appointment is “a good first step” and said that “there’s no better person who could be asked to perform this function. He is respected, he is talented and he has the knowledge and ability to do the right thing.”

Mueller was appointed FBI director in 2001 and served in the position until 2013. FBI directors are appointed to ten-year terms, but President Barack Obama added two years to his tenure.

A career prosecutor and veteran of the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, Mueller is a widely respected figure in Washington. He had been in private practice since 2014 at Wilmer-Hale, a Washington, D.C.-based law firm known for securities enforcement and white collar work.
