Mizoram Ziona is just like any other dad on this earth: he cooks, he cares for his children, he tends to his garden and house, he is truly a family man. The only difference between him and every other father in this world is that he has 180 PEOPLE IN HIS IMMEDIATE FAMILY. That’s 39 wives, 94 children, 14 daughters-in-law, and 33 grandchildren. ALL STEMMING FROM ONE MAN
Mizoram lives in Baktawng Tlangnuam village in the Serchhip District in India and is said to be the head of the world’s largest family. The family all lives in the same location, and basically under the same roof, which can prove difficult, as you would imagine.

According the Chana followers, the origin of Chana Pawl is rooting in Chapter 20 of the book of Revelation, the 1000 years Jesus Christ spent on earth. It’s largest religious festival is “Bawkte Kut,” or “Festival of the Hut.” The festival takes place on June 12th every year to celebrate the founding of the faith.
As you could guess, polygamy is formally encouraged by Chana’s followers. Oddly enough, the religion isn’t a very widespread one, with only 2,000 followers total.
You would think with 38 wives, Ziona seeks out women to marry, but it’s actually the exact opposite. Women seek him out because they see him as an avenue to a better life. The area Ziona is from is notoriously impoverished, and the financial security that he provides is enough of a reason to jump ship with him.
WTH?
Unlike some of the more sinister religious sects in the world, members of Chana are allowed to speak about the religion to outsiders. His wife Rinkmini says that she wasn’t forced to marry Ziona, but that he began to pursue her when they were both out for a morning walk. They would often cross paths after their first meeting, and when Ziona eventually asked for her hand in marriage, she happily agreed. “He is the most handsome person in the village,” she told the daily mail in an interview.
He brings meaning to the song “We Are Family” he got all is wives with thee. lol
You might be wondering if the Indian government objects to Chana Pawl in the way that America government has rejected polygamous cults in the past, but the fact of the matter is that the family members act as model citizens. The local minister of rural development said, “They’re very good craftsmen and very enterprising. They’re also reputed to be honest.”
When God Said Be Fruitful And Multiply, I don’t think he had this in mind.
While the majority of people could do without 38 spouses, Ziona says that “Today I feel like God’s special child. He’s given me so many people to look after.” His followers are also happy with the situation, with C Lalringthanga, whose daughter is married to Ziona, says that the family, “diligently practices the values the gospel tells us — like honesty, hard work, helping the neighbors, simplicity, and equality.”
Just some of his wives.
Ziona considers himself a lucky man to have such a large family, but he admits that it can be a bit endearing at times. If you have a family of 5 or 6, you can sometimes get by by “winging it,” but when you are managing 180 people under one roof, there are a lot of day-to-day logistics one needs to take into account. This management requires strict routines, and some of the children have gone on record saying that the home sometimes feels more like a military operation than a home.
He has 1 thing correct,. He makes the kids work.
The family’s two “managers” are Ziona himself and his first wife Zathiangi. Their mornings start with getting up before everyone else and determining what work needs to be done that day. Once they’ve agreed on the nitty gritty, the other wives are then summoned and given their instructions for the day. Everyone is involved in ensuring the home runs smoothly and in a way that is beneficial to everyone.
The homestead is in a very rural area of India, so they like to get an early start on the day. Most days the family will be out of bed and starting their day by 5:50am. Every morning the family does a group prayer to start their day, and they work until the sun goes down, which is when they have a large communal meal.
As you could imagine, feeding 180 people is no small task. On any given night, Ziona’s household can consume 100 pounds of rice, 44 pounds of pulses, and up to 77 pounds of meat. Imagine ordering 77 pounds of beef at the butcher!
All this cooking takes a lot of effort, and the clean up is just as difficult. Luckily there is a small army to help cook and clean every night.
This is a big house.
The family really does live under one room, which is something that is still hard to believe. The family has built their own home into the mountainside by their village. Standing at 4 stories tall with over 100 rooms inside, the house is definitely a feat. Although when you look at it, the house would probably not pass most building codes if it was build anywhere else.
Interesting enough, the wives don’t get their own rooms, but instead share communal rooms. Outsiders think this is to encourage bonding among the wives.
They get their daddy time with THE MAN.
The wives’ communal bedrooms are essentially barracks, long rooms outfitted with rows of beds. As you might expect as head of the household, Ziona has his own bedroom, with a single double bed.
And you might be wondering, if there are 38 wives, only one double bed, and one man, how does Ziona “do the do.” Well the family has actually produced a schedule for the wives, with each wife getting a scheduled week for bedroom time with Ziona. The wives insist that by this arrangement, none of the wives get jealous of each other.
Wives are Arranged in Age Order
Each wife is numbered upon arrival into the family, but apart from the first wife who helps in chore allocation, everyone is consider an equal. Lalruatkimi, who is wife 18, says ““Every wife, save for the post-menopause lot, gets to spend a week in Pu Ziona’s room. During this period, she takes care of all his needs.”
“All of his needs.”
We will leave that one up to your imagination.
While everything so far seems pretty egalitarian, there is one aspect to living in the household that suggests that might not entirely be true.
In the wives’ sleeping quarters, their beds are arranged by the wife’s age, with the youngest positioned closest to Ziona’s room, and the oldest the furthest. While the wives have assured outsiders that this is just merely a form of organization, it seems like there is some underlying pecking order.
While all of the wives bear children, the duty of caring for the child is usually given to the oldest women in the family. And after collectively caring for 110 newborns, they might know a thing or two about caring for children.
Surprisingly, this isn’t an odd practice in rural India. Often times the younger parents will delegate the majority of the child-raising duties to their grandparents so they can go work and provide for the family.
Who’s Your Daddy Damit?
If you think amateur midwifery sounds like a bad idea, the family would beg to differ. As a matter of fact, they think that they might have more experience than the doctors in the area. One of Ziana’s sons, Parliana, spoke to The Times of India to say “We don’t need any nurses or doctors at childbirth. Our womenfolk have enough experience and no woman in this house has suffered from any sort of complications during or after delivery.”
The Family is Self-Sufficient
One of the main reasons Chana Pawl is respected by those around them is their hardwork and dedication. The family prides themselves on self-sufficiency, and while household chores are large part of the day-to-day, the family also runs multiple farms and it’s own school. All of the food consumed by the family is grown by them, and the children are educated by the family. Ziona values education, and while religious studies are a part of the curriculum, it only accounts for about 20% of their teachings. Ziona ultimately wants his children to be successful in the world, and he knows how important smarts are.
He Is A Modern Day Solomon
Ziona, now in his 70s and as healthy as he can be, is wanting to add some more wives to his family in the coming years. He is quite interested in adding someone more “exotic” to the family, and might venture to the US to find her.
This Is Really Insane.
The world’s largest family isn’t all that strange once you really get to know then, but they aren’t exactly “normal” either. They’ve been featured in Ripley’s publications TWICE. Once in a “strangest stories” list in 2011 and again in 2013 for “Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Book Number 9.”
Well we wish the family the best of luck, but it seems like they have everything handled.
Just imagine if you were going through a home robbery or you had an emergency accident
Crenshanda Williams, 44, was found guilty of interference with emergency telephone calls while working at a 911 Emergency center. She only got 10 days in jail and 18 months on probation.
Williams was hanging up on individuals that needed emergency help for over a year. Her lawyer claimed that she was going through a rough time which led to her poor performance: “But punishing her doesn’t do anything to fix the problems that still exist at the emergency center.”
I know her lawyers have to give her the best defense because that’s his job but this woman has to be put away for a long time, it’s only right. Think of the many people that she could have help, was disconnected on purpose.
Williams spent a year and a half taking 911 calls at the Houston Emergency Center until she was caught in August 2016 and fired by the city. A supervisor who oversaw Williams was also placed on one year of internal probation, officials said at the time.
Williams’ misdeeds came to light after HEC officials performing routine monthly audits of 911 calls noticed a high volume of Williams’ calls lasted less than 20 seconds, known as “short calls.” In a news release detailing the sentencing, prosecutors said a review showed Williams hung up on “thousands” of short calls.
The calls included one where a caller tried to report a violent robbery and another where a caller was about two drivers racing in an area on Interstate 45 where people had been killed speeding just weeks earlier.
Williams told investigators she often hung up because she didn’t want to talk to anyone at those times.
“The citizens of Harris County rely on 911 operators to dispatch help in their time of need,” said Lauren Reeder, a Harris County prosecutor.
There’s no excuse for an action like this by a public servant. Imagine if you were going through a home robbery or you had an emergency accident that could be fatal, and you dialed 911 for help and the assistant hung up on you?
That is what this woman did for over a year and a half so I don’t see any reason why she shouldn’t be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
Do you think this woman’s life problems should matter if she is tried and convicted? Do you feel her lawyer is going to try to get her off with mental illness? SOUND OFF in the comment section below and at this story to your social media page.
Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper gave inconsistent testimony to a House panel about his contacts with CNN’s Jake Tapper regarding the infamous Steele dossier, according to a report released by congressional Republicans on Friday.
The report, published by the GOP side of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, shows that Clapper acknowledged speaking with Tapper about the dossier while he was still serving as director of national intelligence.
“I didn’t have any contact with media until after I left the government on the 20th of January, so I don’t quite understand, at least what I’ve read, that somehow I leaked about the dossier,” Clapper told Lemon in the interview.
“So you didn’t leak anything about the dossier to any media?” Lemon asked.
CNN, where Clapper is now a national security analyst, played a crucial role in the dossier saga.
On Jan. 10, 2017, the network published a story written by Tapper and three other CNN journalists revealing that on Jan. 6, then-President-elect Donald Trump was briefed on the salacious allegations laid out in the dossier, which was written by former British spy Christopher Steele and funded by Democrats.
CNN used that briefing as a hook to publish its story about the existence of the dossier, which included allegations that Trump was being blackmailed. BuzzFeed News used CNN’s report as a news hook of its own, publishing the dossier in full later on Jan. 10, 2017.
CNN’s report cited “multiple U.S. officials” as sources. The sources remain unidentified.
It has since been revealed that then-FBI Director James Comey conducted Trump’s private briefing on the dossier’s unverified allegations. Memos that Comey wrote following his meetings with Trump showed that CNN was looking for a “news hook” to release information about the dossier.
Comey wrote in a memo following that briefing that he explained to Trump that “media like CNN had [the dossier] and were looking for a news hook.”
“I also explained that one of the reasons we told him was that the media, CNN in particular, was telling us they were about to run with it,” Comey wrote in a Jan. 28, 2017 memo following a dinner meeting with Trump.
In their report, House Intel Republicans assert that when Clapper was initially asked about leaks during his July 17, 2017 committee interview, he “flatly denied” discussing the Steele dossier “or any other intelligence related to Russia hacking of the 2016 election with journalists.”
But Clapper “subsequently acknowledged discussing” the dossier with Tapper. He also admitted he might have spoken with other journalists.
Committee Republicans note that Clapper’s interaction with Tapper took place in early January 2017, “around the time [Intelligence Community] leaders briefed President Obama and President-elect Trump, on ‘the Christopher Steele information.’”
In a report of their own released on Friday, Democrats claimed that Republicans had an “intent to smear Clapper” with their allegations about his media contacts.
“Despite this dark insinuation, the report neither cites evidence, nor even alleges, that Clapper disclosed information – classified or unclassified – illegally or improperly,” Democrats write, noting that Clapper was authorized to engage with the media.
Democrats pointed to an exchange that Clapper had with Florida Rep. Tom Rooney, a Republican.
“Did you discuss the dossier or any other intelligence related to Russia hacking of the 2016 election with journalists?” Rooney asked.
“No,” said Clapper.
“Did you confirm or corroborate the contents of the dossier with CNN journalist Jake Tapper?” Rooney asked.
“Well, by the time of that, they already knew about it. By the time it was — it was after — I don’t know exactly the sequence there, but it was pretty close to when we briefed it and when it was out ail over the place. The media had it by the way,” said Clapper.
Clapper said later that he discussed the dossier with Tapper after the document was made public. He said he did not remember specifics of his conversation with the CNN anchor.
“Did you discuss the dossier with any other journalists besides Mr. Tapper?” Clapper was asked.
“I could have. I don’t remember specifically talking about the dossier,” he replied.
What Idiot Would Think That This Idiot Is Smart? Yes Feel The Bern You Morons.
Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) is set to unveil a plan that would give American workers who want or need jobs guaranteed government jobs that pay at least $15 per hour and have health benefits.
The progressive Vermont senator’s guaranteed jobs plan would entitle any American a job or job training in U.S.-funded projects in infrastructure, the environment, caregiving, and education, but he did not provide a cost-estimate or plan to fund the proposal, the Washington Postreported.
A representative from Sanders’ office said no funding estimate was available for the project because staffers were still crafting the proposal.
Two other potential 2020 presidential candidates—Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) and Sen. Kristen Gillibrand (D-NY)—have expressed interest in crafting similar proposals.
If You Voted For Or Supported Bernie Sanders You Are A Jackass.
“The goal is to eliminate working poverty and involuntary unemployment altogether,” said Darrick Hamilton, an economist at The New School who expressed support for a guaranteed jobs program. “This is an opportunity for something transformative, beyond the tinkering we’ve been doing for the last 40 years, where all the productivity gains have gone to the elite of society.”
Critics of the plan have said guaranteed jobs proposals would not be sustainable or affordable, and would cause massive job losses in the private sector.
Studies have shown that states and cities which choose to enact a $15 per hour minimum wage trigger job losses. A December 2017 study found that once California’s minimum wage hike takes effect in 2022, the state would lose 400,000 jobs.
“It completely undercuts a lot of industries and companies,” Brian Riedl, a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute who opposes the program, told the Post. “There will be pressure to introduce a higher wage or certain benefits that the private sector doesn’t offer.”
The proposal is unlikely to gain favor with Republicans in control of Congress, and even most Democrats have slammed similar plans as unrealistic.
“It would be extremely expensive, and I wonder if this is the best, most targeted use of the amount of money it would cost,” said Ernie Tedeschi, an economist who worked for the Treasury during the Obama administration.
The Vermont senator’s proposal comes days after he declared President Trump’s agenda “dead” if the Democratic Party wins the majority in the House or Senate.
A confident House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) predicted on Tuesday that Democrats will take back the House and immediately push for amnesty for so-called Dreamers and more gun-control legislation.
“When we win and we take over in January, some of the issues that will come up soon are some of the issues that we are asking the Speaker to do right now,” she said at a Georgetown University event.
Democrats will lose every-time if Republicans did what they said.
Pelosi then said Democrats are set to push “gun-violence legislation and background-checks legislation” in addition to “legislation on the Dreamers.”
“Certainly that will be among the things we will do right away,” she continued.
Pelosi also suggested that Democrats would “revisit” President Donald Trump’s tax cuts and push an infrastructure bill to “build the infrastructure of America—housing, schools, bridges, water.”
She also spoke about building the country’s “human infrastructure,” including education and health care for young people and pension security for their families.
She said Democrats will run on “fairness and justice” and tell voters that Republicans in Congress have been there longer than President Donald Trump and are worse on issues left-wing activists care about like gun control, climate change, and amnesty.
If Democrats do take back the House, Pelosi will not be a shoo-in to become Speaker again. After Democrat Conor Lamb’s victory in a Pennsylvania special election, numerous Democrats across the country have distanced themselves from Pelosi, with many top left-wing candidates even in her home state refusing to go on the record to voice their support for Pelosi.
Pelosi, though, is relying on her fundraising ability and political vote-counting skills to regain her Speakership if Democrats take back the House in November.
Why Don’t The Goon Just Say Hell Yes I Said It And It’s True?
Joy Reid’s old blog, The Reid Report (2000-2014), is littered with even more anti-gay posts than were originally discovered, reports the far-left blog Mediate. The MSNBC host is claiming these latest discoveries were not written by her, but by hackers as a means “to taint my character.”
Earlier this year, Reid admitted to authoring a number of posts on her old site that mercilessly ridiculed then-Republican Florida Governor Charlie Crist as a homosexual (even after he married a woman). Reid was clearly using homosexuality as a pejorative, as a weapon of ridicule, so the left-wing MSNBC anchor’s homophobia has already been well- established.
Nevertheless, after she apologized for this (and because she is not a conservative), Reid was allowed to resume a media career that traffics in conspiracy theories, race-baiting, and uninformed Trump-bashing.
Here are some the new finds on Reid’s old site that she claims she did not write:
Keeping it real … most straight men feel exactly the same way, and would have the exact same reaction to the idea of stripping naked in a sweaty locker room in close quarters with a gay teammate. Most straight people cringe at the sight of two men kissing… Most straight people had a hard time being convinced to watch ‘Broke Back Mountain.’ (I admit that I couldn’t go see the movie either, despite my sister’s ringing endorsement, because I didn’t want to watch the two male characters having sex.)
Does that make me homophobic? Probably. And I’m not exactly proud of it. But part of the intrinsic nature of “Straightness” is that the idea of homosexual sex is … well … gross … even if you think that gay people are perfectly lovely individuals. For the record I’m sure gay people think straight sex is gross, too, it’s the that the nature of political correctness is that gay people are allowed to say straight sex is gross but the reverse is considered to be patently homophobic.
While defending a Marine General who declared homosexual acts “immoral,” Reid (or her hacker) wrote in 2007…
“Some people use the [word] ‘immoral’ when they really mean ‘distasteful’ — I think a lot of heterosexuals, especially men, find the idea of homosexual sex to be … well … gross, and they lump it in with immorality.”
Mediaite adds that Reid (or her hacker) went on, “And then there are the concerns that adult gay men tend to be attracted to very young, post-pubescent types, bringing them ‘into the lifestyle’ in a way that many people consider to be immoral… Ditto with gay rights groups that seek to organize very young, impressionable teens who may have an inclination that they are gay.”
Other posts included a list of the top five “totally not gay celebrities” that included CNN’s Anderson Cooper, and singer Clay Aiken, who were only rumored at the time to be gay. In 2005, seven years before he came out, Reid said that Cooper is the “gayest thing on TV” and added that she has it “on good authority that Cooper is totally gay.”
Interestingly enough, Mediaite adds that Reid repeatedly wrote about opposing same sex marriage.
Reid’s hacker must have been fairly busy and thorough because dozens of politicians and celebrities were hit with gay jokes, according to Mediaite, including one aimed at her current colleague, MSNBC’s Chris Matthews.
Here is Reid’s full denial:
In December I learned that an unknown, external party accessed and manipulated material from my now-defunct blog, The Reid Report, to include offensive and hateful references that are fabricated and run counter to my personal beliefs and ideology.
I began working with a cyber-security expert who first identified the unauthorized activity, and we notified federal law enforcement officials of the breach. The manipulated material seems to be part of an effort to taint my character with false information by distorting a blog that ended a decade ago.
Now that the site has been compromised I can state unequivocally that it does not represent the original entries. I hope that whoever corrupted the site recognizes the pain they have caused, not just to me, but to my family and communities that I care deeply about: LGBTQ, immigrants, people of color and other marginalized groups.
It is worth noting, however, that Reid does admit these posts came from her blog … with the caveat that they were added by nefarious hackers after she had the site shut down. It’s unclear when the nefarious hackers would have hacked her site and added the controversial content, since it has been defunct for years and still is. More importantly, NBC could or would not specify exactly which posts Reid is claiming were doctored.
On top of Reid, there is Saturday Night Live star Alex Badwin, who has long history of homophobia. Morning Joe co-host Mika Brzezinski slut-shamed a woman who had photographic proof disgraced ex-Senator Al Franken (D-MN) groped her. Despite credible allegations of “stalking, groping and making explicit comments to female colleagues,” NBC still hired Mike Tircio to anchor the Winter Olympics. Andrea Mitchell is a rape denier. NBC paid off a staffer who accused Chris Matthews of harassment, and no fewer than six NBC staffers were fired for various acts of sexual misconduct, which in some cases went on for years.
Being a homophobe, sex abuser, or enabler, appears to be the opposite of a disqualifier at NBC News, so Reid has nothing to worry about.
