Canada Honors Zelensky and Nazi SS Soldier

Ukraine has always been full of Nazis.

The speaker of Canada’s Parliament [above, left] has issued an apology after heaping praise on a former Waffen SS soldier, leading to the individual being feted with applause in the chamber by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau last week.

Speaker Anthony Rota introduced 98-year-old Yaroslav Hunka during a special session at Parliament Hill on Friday attended by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, describing “Ukrainian hero, Canadian hero” Hunka as one who had “fought [for] Ukrainian independence against the Russians” in the Second World War. Having done so, the chamber came to its feet — including Zelensky and Trudeau — and gave sustained applause with whooping cheers, twice.

Yet Hunka was quickly identified as a former member of the 14th Waffen Grenadier Division of the SS (1st Galician), a notorious paramilitary formation which the Polish ambassador to Canada said on Sunday was “responsible for murdering thousands of Poles & Jews”.

Zelensky being seen applauding an SS volunteer is awkward for his nation’s cause, given the energy devoted by Russian propagandists to portray the Kyiv government as being the descendants of Second World War-era Ukrainian fascists. Russia tells its own people the purpose of what they euphemistically call their ‘special military operation’ is the ‘Denazification’ of Ukraine.

Despite using his prominent platform as speaker of the house to bring attention to Hunka, who he also said was a resident of his own electoral district, Rota has now pleaded ignorance as to who Hunka actually was. Calling the oversight “entirely my own”, Rota said he had “subsequently become aware of more information which causes me to regret my decision”.

Rota said calling attention to Hunka was entirely his own decision and “no one, including fellow parliamentarians and the Ukraine delegation” was aware of what he was going to do in advance. “I accept full responsibility for my actions”, he said, and Trudeau’s office has denied foresight.

The remarkable failure of due diligence came as even a casual knowledge of the European theatre of the Second World War would have flagged a member of the “First Ukainian Division” as being worthy of a second look before being celebrated.

Despite speaker Rota moving to take full responsibility, the leader of the Canadian Conservative opposition party Pierre Polievre alleged liberal Prime Minister Trudeau himself was more involved than initially revealed. Polievre wrote that: “Trudeau personally met with and honoured a veteran of the 14th Waffen Grenadier Division of the SS (a Nazi division)” and was involved in the process to have Rota recognised on the floor.

Polievre claimed: “This is an appalling error in judgement on the part of Justin Trudeau, whose personal protocol office is responsible for arranging and vetting all guests and programming for state visits of this kind… Mr. Trudeau must personally apologize and avoid passing the blame to others as he always does.”

The Waffen-SS was a paramilitary fighting force of the NSDAP, which was led by the ideologically most devoted Nazis in the Second World War. As well as units manned by party-loyal ethnic Germans, it also created volunteer corps, divisions, brigades, and legions recruited from foreign nations and collaborationists. Some of these groups became notorious for being among the most brutal Nazi units and many were executed after the war.

The Canadian Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center said of the brewing controversy over the Nazi volunteer being honored in parliament that this act ignored “the horrific fact that Hunka served in the 14th Waffen Grenadier Division of the SS, a Nazi military unit whose crimes against humanity during the Holocaust are well-documented”.

Their statement said: “The fact that a veteran who served in a Nazi military unit was invited to and given a standing ovation in Parliament is shocking. At a time of rising antisemitism and Holocaust distortion, it is incredibly disturbing to see Canada’s Parliament rise to applaud an individual who was a member of a unit in the Waffen-SS, a Nazi military branch responsible for the murder of Jews and others and that was declared a criminal organization during the Nuremberg Trials. There should be no confusion that this unit was responsible for the mass murder of innocent civilians with a level of brutality and malice that is unimaginable.”

Rota responded to their call for an apology in his own statement Monday, saying: “I particularly want to extend my deepest apologies to Jewish communities in Canada and around the world.”

WaPo/ABC Poll: Trump Takes Commanding 10-Point Lead over Biden

President Joe Biden is struggling to connect with Americans across a variety of critical issues as former President Donald Trump enjoys a commanding 10-point lead over his anticipated rival for the White House in 2024, polling released Sunday shows.

A Washington Post-ABC News poll reveals Democrat Biden lacking engagement with a skeptical public, with dissatisfaction growing over his handling of the economy and immigration, a rising share saying the U.S. is doing too much to aid Ukraine in its war with Russia and broad concerns about his age as he seeks a second term.

Overall Biden’s job approval rating is sunk 19 points underwater while his ratings for handling the economy and immigration stand at career lows.

The numbers also show Biden trailing his ascendant Republican predecessor and likely future opponent by 10 percentage points at this early stage in the election cycle – well beyond the margin of error for the survey.

Biden’s overall approval stands at 37 percent, about where it was in May but lower than in February when it was 42 percent. The Post-ABC poll finds 56 percent of Americans disapproving of Biden, a figure aligning with other recent polls, the Post reveals in its own report on the results.

Overall, roughly three in four Americans say the economy is not so good or poor and 57 percent rate it negatively. There are even worse ratings of gas or energy prices (87 percent say not so good or poor), which have recently risen again, and food prices (a 91 percent negative rating).

This survey also shows Americans losing faith in how Biden is handling the illegal immigration crisis on the porous southern border.

Asked about Biden’s handling of the human tide crossing the U.S.-Mexico border, 23 percent say they approve while 62 percent say they disapprove. That compares with 28 percent approval and 59 percent disapproval in February.

In terms of intensity of sentiment, 20 percent strongly approve of his work overall, while 45 percent strongly disapprove. And the 74 percent who say he’s too old for a second term is up six percentage points since May.

Similar disappointment is shown in Biden’s push to support Ukraine with billions of U.S. taxpayer dollars.

Since the start of the war in February 2022, public opinion has shifted away from supporting the Ukrainians. The current survey finds 41 percent saying the United States is doing too much to help, 31 percent saying it is the right amount and 18 percent saying it is too little.

In February, 33 percent said they thought levels of assistance were too much while in April 2022, 14 percent held that view.The poll was conducted Sept. 15-20, among a random national sample of 1,006 U.S. adults, with 75 percent reached on cellphones and 25 percent on landlines. Overall results have a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points. The error margin is four points among the sample of 890 registered voters, and larger among other subgroups.

Joe Biden Can’t Stop Calling Black Men “Boy”

Joe Biden Saturday evening delivered remarks at the 2023 Phoenix Awards Dinner at the Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC.

As usual, Biden’s speech was full of lies and gaffes.

Biden once again lied about being involved in the civil rights movement.

This is one of Biden’s favorite lies.

“I started off as a kid in the civil rights movement in Wilmington, Delaware, when I was in high school. And the community, we won the c— we won by a staggering 3,100 or 3,200 votes when I ran the first time for the Senate!” Biden said Saturday night.

At one point racist Joe Biden called black rap artist LL Cool J “boy” before catching himself.

“LL J Cool J, uhh, by the way, that boy’s got— that man’s got biceps bigger than my thighs,” Biden said.

Joe Biden routinely refers to black men as “boy.”

Earlier this year, Joe Biden referred to Democrat Wes Moore, Maryland’s first black governor as “boy” during his remarks.

“And you got a helluva new governor in Wes Moore, I tell ya,” Biden said. “He’s the real deal and the boy looks like he still play.”

Joe Biden also called a black advisor “boy” during a FEMA briefing in August 2021.

Zelensky asks Satanist Marina Abramovic to be Ukrainian Ambassador

In the middle of a never-ending war with Russia, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has asked Serbian Satanist Marina Abramovic to become an “Ambassador” for the war-torn country as reported by the UK Telegraph.

Despite what Western propaganda has been saying since the February 2022 outbreak of the war, Ukraine is clearly losing the war against Russia. The “Spring Offensive” by Ukraine against Russia this past spring failed. Ukraine’s three-month-long ‘counteroffensive’ against Russia this past summer, also failed. It met this failure by demanding critics ‘shut up’ about its failure.

The military effort has become so strained, the United States has resorted to utilizing international terrorism against Russia by blowing up Russia’s Nord Stream pipelines in September 2022.

Now, apparently, the war effort rests in the hands of a 76-year-old self-described ‘artist’ most famous for holding severed, bloody, goat heads. “An attack on Ukraine is an attack on humanity and has to be stopped,” Abramovic has said.

Abramovic has denied being a Satanist, claiming she’s just an artist. However this might not mean much since Christians claim Satan and Satanists are chronic liars.

She was briefly a featured artist for Microsoft in 2020 until her ties to Satan became too much even for a company responsible for Windows ME.

Abramovic has been photographed in front of a painting by Thomas Lawrence titled “Satan Summoning his Legions” with controversial left-wing billionaire Jacob Rothschild. Abramovich also had transgressive art installations she called “Spirit Cooking” in 1996 that featured the consumption of bodily fluids while chanting phrases that some allege are Satanic. In 2016, when Wikileaks published the Podesta Archive of emails, Clinton advisor and powerful left-wing operator John Podesta was revealed to be attending “Spirit Cooking” meals with Abramovic as late as 2015.

The United States has sent over $113 Billion in aid to Ukraine over five ’rounds’ during its conflict with Russia. By comparison, the US spent $209 Billion nationwide in 2023 on the federal highways and interstates. This past week Republicans in the House have signaled an increasing resistance to providing more aid to the eastern European conflict, according to a Washington Post columnist the Republican support is barely “hanging by a thread.”

Biden, this week, is discussing giving Ukraine another $325 million in military aid. There’s no word if any of these funds will be used to finance Abramovic’s ‘ambassadorship.’

Of the declared candidates for Republican President, most other than Trump have signaled strong one-sided support to enlarge the Ukraine war with increased aid, and resolve for supporting Ukraine in the current conflict. Notably Ramaswamy wants to end the endless financial welfare to Ukraine.

TRUMP – Has said that he would pressure both Putin and Zelensky to make a peace they would both stick to.

DESANTIS – Has made a few lightly critical comments of Ukraine, calling it a “territorial dispute,” which he quickly and cowardly backtracked on.

CHRISTIE – Has visited Zelensky, and announced his strong support for Ukraine.

PENCE – In addition to making secret trips to Ukraine to show support for Zelensky, Pence told Tucker Carlson, “I believe that it is in the interest of the United States of America to continue to give the Ukrainian military the resources that they need to repel the Russian invasion and restore their sovereignty.”

HALEY – Has said the Ukraine conflict is in the United States’ “national interest” and that the conflict is “one we have to win.”

SCOTT – Has said that supporting Ukraine in the war with Russia is in America’s “vital national interest” and has said he sees the goal as “degrading the Russian military.”

RAMASWAMY – Has said he does not support continued aid to Ukraine. He described the current policy as “disastrous.”

Man Who Ran Down and KILLED a Teenager for Being a Republican in 2022 Sentenced to Only Five Years in Prison

In September of last year, a North Dakota man named Shannon Brandt ran down and killed a teenager named Cayler Ellingson because he supposedly suspcted him of being a Republican extremist.

Brandt was allowed to plea to the charge of manslaughter and was just sentenced to only five years in prison, followed by three years of probation.

This is outrageous. J6 Defendants are getting longer sentences than this man and he killed someone.

A Glenfield, North Dakota, man is sentenced to five years in prison for his involvement in the death of an 18-year-old last September.

A judge handed down the sentence for Shannon Brandt on Friday, September 8. Brandt was given credit for 356 already served behind bars. His five-year sentence will be followed by three years of supervised probation.

Brandt’s lawyer, Mark Friese, told Valley News Live following the sentencing, “Shannon is pleased that the matter is concluded and hopes those affected can begin to heal.”

Brandt, 42, pleaded guilty to manslaughter in May 2023 for running over 18-year-old Cayler Ellingson after a street dance in McHenry, North Dakota in September 2022.

Court documents say Brandt called 911 and said he hit Ellingson because he was being threatened. Documents say Brandt told police the 18-year-old was part of a republican extremist group and that he was afraid they were coming to get him.

This is not equal justice under the law.

North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum is a Republican who is running for president.

He would be wise to comment on this situation.
