“Our vaccines are working exceptionally well. They continue to work well for Delta in regard to severe illness and death being prevented. But what they can’t do anymore is prevent transmission.”
So Dr. Rochelle Walensky who is the CDC Director. Tells the department store dummy Wolf Blitzer;  “Our vaccines are working exceptionally well. They continue to work well for Delta in regard to severe illness and death being prevented. But what they can’t do anymore is prevent transmission.” Well I would like to say that the vaccines have never prevented severe illness or death. NBC Chicago reported on July 22, 2021 that, “more than 150 people have died and nearly 600 have been hospitalized in Illinois due to COVID-19 in "breakthrough" cases after they were fully vaccinated, according to the latest data.”
