Brittney Jones performing sex act in Duval County Courthouse Hallway
“HAD SO MUCH FUN IN COURT TODAY. FOUND A WAY TO GET MY CHARGES DROPPED …..Ssssssh Don’t Tell.” The Florida Times-Union reports that the woman, 26, in the video was present at the Duval County courtroom to face drug charges. For those charges, the woman served two days in prison and was given a fine.
The 26-year-old woman seen in the video was scheduled in Courtroom 401 for a 9 a.m. arraignment on her Jan. 19 arrest for a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, according to court records. Pleading no contest, she was sentenced to time served, which was two days in jail. Then she was fined and released, records show.
She has not been charged in the latest incident, so the Times-Union is not identifying her or showing an image of her from the video.
A screen grab from her Twitter account taken by Action News before the video was deleted has her comment above the link stating, “HAD SO MUCH FUN IN COURT TODAY. FOUND A WAY TO GET MY CHARGES DROPPED….Ssssssh Don’t Tell.”
Trial Court Administrator Joseph Stelma Jr. said nothing like this has occurred in the courthouse in recent memory and does not believe the man was a courthouse or Clerk of Courts employee.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A video showing a woman performing a sexual act on a man inside the Duval County Courthouse during business hours has spread on social media and triggered an investigation.
News4Jax is not naming the woman involved or showing the graphic video since the woman is not facing charges as a result of the act that was caught on video, although she did post the video on her Twitter account.
It happened Tuesday morning on the fourth floor of the courthouse. The video clearly shows the sex act on a bench in the hallway outside Courtroom 401.
When first contacted Wednesday morning, the court administrator wasn’t aware of the incident, but launched an investigation after seeing the video of what happened.
Chief Judge Mark Mahon said he was disgusted by the acts he saw in the video. All they know is that the two people were not employees of the courthouse.
Since no one witnessed the act in person, it may not be a crime, said Gil Smith, News4Jax crime and safety analyst.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Integrity Unit, which looks into operations of court employees, is investigating.
The police report said the suspicious activity was observed by video surveillance.
According to the report, the activity consisted of a man and woman engaging in what appeared to be inappropriate behavior while the woman was at the courthouse for a 9 a.m. arraignment on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, smuggling contraband into jail and violation of probation.
Court records show she pleaded no contest.
Woman’s family disappointed, but not ashamed
The family of the woman captured on a camera inside the courthouse performing a sex act expressed disappointment after seeing the video.
David, her father who only wished to be identified by his first name, told News4Jax Wednesday night that he’s not ashamed of his beautiful daughter, but merely disappointed by the decision she made.
“I was working on my yard (and) I received several calls and texts that I needed to go to the news website and look up some courtroom. When I went on and saw my daughter, I was shocked — very, very shocked.”
David said he wanted to set the record straight about his daughter, revealing that their relationship hasn’t always been the best. He also said his daughter is troubled and was incarcerated 10 years ago.
“For many years, we didn’t speak. But she’s my first born. I love her. I try and guide her, but she always brings up that I wasn’t there when she really needed me. So deep down I feel she’s doing it for the attention,” he said.
The father said her family is making a plea for someone to help.
“My mom’s hurt. My grandmother’s hurt. We are all hurt because we love (her). And we are trying to express how much we love her, but I think there is a wall up. I think she is hurt from the past,” he said. “I’m upset.”
Her grandmother, who wished to only be called Miss Evans, said the woman also has a young son.
“I would hate for him to turn on TV and see his mom. That’s very very upsetting to me. That’s what’s worrying me a lot this afternoon,” she said.
News4Jax went to the woman’s house to see if she wanted to talk about the incident, but no one was home. She has since posted on social media that she does not want to discuss it.

Pastor Caught With His Pants Down in Sex Scandal
Tallahassee pastor’s tryst in spotlight
A well-known Tallahassee pastor was forced to flee naked after a husband came home early and found him having sex with the man’s wife.
The details of the Jan.17 episode outlined in a police report, combined with Pastor O. Jermaine Simmons’ address to members of his Jacob Chapel congregation about the incident, have been the subject of intense social media and internet buzz.
In an address to his members, Simmons seemed to portray the congregation and himself as the victims.
“I’m hurting because I’ve hurt you,” Simmons said on Sunday, Jan. 22. “I can’t speak to people on the outside. I am not Tallahassee’s pastor. I am not Florida’s pastor. I am Jacob Chapel’s pastor. It hurts me that you have to defend my actions. You cannot defend sin,” he continued to loud applause from the congregation.
The scandal broke during the same week Simmons and the church were celebrating the 11th anniversary of his leadership. He was scheduled to hold a signing of his first book “I Need a Man,” which, according to his website’s description, “offers a fresh perspective on the issues of godly manhood and mentoring.”
Simmons, who is married and has a son, is well known locally for addressing the physical and spiritual needs of college students and the down-trodden. He established a cold night shelter and also organizes the annual Back to School Bash, which collects and distributes backpacks and other school supplies for hundreds of Tallahassee children.
However, his recent actions outside the pulpit have brought him unwanted attention.
According to a Tallahassee Police report, officers went to the Sienna Square apartments on Capital Circle Northeast in the middle of the afternoon of Jan. 17 after a woman called to report that her husband was angry and had a handgun after he encountered his wife and Simmons having sex in the daughter’s bedroom. The man came home early after the school called him to pick up his sick son. The school had tried unsuccessfully to reach the wife.
According to the woman, Simmons came over to discuss starting a business and providing less fortunate kids with clothes and shoes,” but they ended up in bed together. The woman told police she and Simmons began “establishing a relationship” last October.
After the husband interrupted the tryst, he yelled “I’m gonna kill him” and ran to the master bedroom for his handgun; Simmons fled the apartment naked and hid behind a nearby fence.
The wife then called the police and her husband left with Simmons’ clothes, wallet and car keys, which he threatened to drop off at the church. He also threatened to expose Simmons on Facebook.
The wife told police her husband never threatened her and she declined to press charges. Simmons also declined to press charges. State Attorney Jack Campbell, “citing the interests of all involved,” decided against prosecution.
After phone negotiations with police, the husband arranged to return Simmons’ belongings. The husband turned over the handgun to NAACP Tallahassee Branch President Dale Landry.
“My prayers to the families involved and the church and our community,“ said Landry. “May God guide all our hearts and minds as we move through this period.”
Simmons, who has led the independent church since 2005, said he won’t quit.
“What I want from God, I have already received – that’s his forgiveness, ” Simmons said in his address. “What I am asking of our members is your prayers and your forgiveness.”
In response, the congregation stood and applauded for several minutes.

Assault with a Deadly Tampon
Florida Woman Arrested For Pelting Police Officer With Her “Wet” Used Tampon
A Florida woman was arrested last night after she pelted a cop with a “wet” used tampon, which a police report characterized as a “deadly weapon.
According to cops, Tecora Fields, 28, was involved in a brawl Monday night in St. Petersburg, where Fields resides.
As Officer Andre Sousa investigated the fight, Fields told the St. Petersburg cop to “suck her pussy,” adding that, “I’ll hit you with my tampon you bitch!” The tampon, Fields noted, was destined for the patrolman’s mouth.
After issuing those threats, Fields “was then seen with both her hands in her genital area, with her pants open.” She was then observed “throwing a wet white paper object” at Sousa. The tampon struck the officer’s left shoulder.
After flinging the tampon, Fields sought to flee into a nearby residence, but she was “apprehended following a successful taser deployment.”

Fatal Shooting Over a Chili Dog
Volusia authorities: Fight over chili dog escalated into shooting
PORT ORANGE —
A shooting Monday morning in Port Orange that left a stepson dead escalated from an argument the night before over a chili dog, according to Volusia County charging affidavit.
- Man charged with murder in slaying of adult stepson
- Danny Holder’s wife, Jackie, called authorities after shooting
- Affidavit says Danny Holder, Randall Lowen, argued often
Danny Holder faces charges of first-degree murder in the death of his stepson, 55-year-old Randall Lowen, at a home on Shahab Lane.
In a court appearance Tuesday, Holder claimed it was self-defense.
“There’d been physical violence against my client that morning,” said Holder’s lawyer, Matthew Phillips.
According to the Volusia report, Holder’s wife, Jackie, told police officers that her husband and Lowen, her adult son, had gotten into a verbal argument Sunday night over a chili dog and that Danny Holder then threatened to shoot Lowen.
She became fearful so she hid her husband’s firearm.
The next morning, the arguing continued, this time about what time it was.
In the kitchen, as Lowen explained to his mother what they were arguing about, Danny Holder pulled out a firearm, the report said. Jackie Holder yelled to Lowen to run; then she heard two loud bangs.
Jackie Holder told police that she only knew of one firearm owned by her husband. Investigators found handguns in the residence, the report said.
Another relative who was interviewed told investigators that Lowen and Danny Holder argued often.
Danny Holder was taken to Volusia County Branch Jail on no bond.
